Superb review of a superb competition
After recently recieveing this DVD of the competition which so many of us in England followed via the Radio it was a great pleasure to be able to see what actually happened. And what a competion it Was !The two DVD's lavishly review every game with superb pictures and some great angles. To see Holland'd first 100 in a one day game is a magic moment, and the aussie bowling attack is awesome. Mark Nicholas glues it all together in his excellent suave style, making the DVD hard to switch off. There are excellent statistics here, superb cricket and quite breathtaking scenery to top it all off. It's quite simply the best cricket DVD money can buy and is the best sports DVD i've seen by miles. Get clicking buy this DVD it's superb. Howzthat !!

Bit of a disappointment
Firstly, I watched most of the WC 2003 live on Sky TV and saw enough to know what the highlights were. This Official review lacked something. At times, I almost got the feeling this was cobbled together by decidedly non-cricket loving people, as there was often no explaining random clips of action included in the DVD that were not game-changing moments.Sometimes they got it right but other times totally wrong. Why not show Wasim taking all 3 wickets in his hat-trick against Australia instead on one (and not the last one)? It makes no sense. Klusener clubs a half-century to keep South Africa in the game against West Indies in the opening match yet we see one shot from him. We also don't get to see Nicky Boje running out to tell Klusener/ Boucher that their Duckworth/Lewis run rate calculation was wrong in their rain-affected game against Sri Lanka; this is the most important point in the whole tournament for the hosts and we're left wondering what's going on. It's maddening. We see Shahid Afridi take Alec Stewart's wicket - why? Why that and not anyone elses? All in all an interesting reminder of what happened in SA back in 2003 but in no way a comprehensive view.
