Style? Sturdy? Clever?
This handy device is perfect for anyone who has a compact camera and want something that can grip round trees. It arrived on time and not only looks cool but it is useful at the same time. However I would not count this as a substitute for a normal tripod as depending on what you are using it for it depends on which one I would use. For taking pictures I would choose to use a normal trpod as it would be steady and could withstand a lot more pressure but it can still be used for this purpose given you don't apply to much pressure to knock it of what it is perched on. I think I will be using this for videos more than anything else.It has rubber rings on each ball joint meaning that it has a good grip with lots of friction to keep it in place and I feel confident to leave it attached to something without worrying about if I will damage my camera. The ball joints are a bit stiff to use however I feel this is because they want to make sure that it is attached and will not fall off so although it is stiffer than I would like i can see why they have done this .The legs of the tripod are very flexible and fairly easy to use and put around things (Let's be honest that's its main feature). The "Quick remove" part of the tripod is very secure but can be removed at the press of a button and then is very easy to pull out. On the bottem of tripod is a head of a screw which can be used to tighten the screw to the camera. This screw is fairly easy to tighten with your nails and no major need for a screwdriver to tighten it. This screw is the standard one for the bottem of most tripods however if you own a GoPro you will need an adaptor to hold the GoPro on this tripod as no GoPro adaptor is provided. Be very careful with this part as it is small and easy to lose as I have found out in the past.It has a very good quality plastic which seems vey durable and is going to survive most of the things you put at it. It is good at both standing on a kitchen table and hanging on a branch. It realy does look cool and I think it looks like a spider crawling on the rocks. At the top it has a ball joint which can rotate meaning it can allways be at a flat angle. This can be locked in place with a simple slide bar at the top. Sadly though the smaller version does not have a spirit level to make sure it is flat but you can hardly knock of points for that. Just don't be fooled the joby gorillapodos size as it is about the size of a hand (15cm long) it's smaller than you might expect (if you want a larger one there are bigger versions available and these can be used with bigger cameras but there is no reason as to why a compact camera cannot be put on top of one. The colour of the model you buy makes no difference to the actual design of the model. In conclution I would not use this as a replacement for normal tripods but I would use it as a helpful accessory for anyone who likes photographing or making videos. I would trust this device with my camera but be careful not to lose the "Quick release" as it is very small. If you have a GoPro it will not attach straight onto the camera just be careful to make sure you have put the tripod in a safe position so it is sturdy and will not fall of. So what's that question i hear you ask? Is it worth the money? Yes is the answer in my opinion and by the look of the reviews lots of people agree. Joby have really done a good job here if you get one you will not regret it. To sum it up in three words Style, Sturdy and Clever.

Small, brilliant, but very odd to look at - just like me.
A splendid little device - but not for anyone with a touch of OCD, otherwise you'll spend hours after you've used the GorillaPod getting each individual little link in the legs to line up neatly instead of all poking about at the most upsettingly independent angles.I use my GorillaPod with a Panasonic Lumix FT5 and have found it to produce stable video results when on loose soil or wrapped around a fence-post in winds gusting to 20-25mph. It is big enough to handle the weight of the camera (something like 250 of the new-fangled eurogrammes or "g") and yet small enough to slip into my medication "man-bag" without taking up a lot of room. This is, if you want it to be, small enough to be a permanent carry. The construction feels to be of reasonable quality, although I suspect that for longevity some careful handling and avoidance of over-squeezing the legs will be called for. Mind you, the same goes for most things in life - I over-squeezed a pet llama once, and that was never the same again afterwards. The GorillaPod comes with a "quick-release" attachment - a plastic wotsit with a metal screw fitting for the camera end, and a little locking ring on the tripodlet (a tripodlet is a small tripod, as here). The plastic locking ring does not inspire the same build-quality confidence as the rest of the device, but works well enough and does facilitate what it says it does - quick attachment and release. We all think it but few of us will say it - one of the best things about this beastie is the way it looks in use; like some little three-legged alien with a camera for a head. As I say though, just beware if you're the sort of person who needs all of your ducks lined up military-fashion and neat - it takes ages to get each of the little leg joints back in a row after use.

WORKS
Works well, holds camera (RX100M3) in all sorts of positions and feels fairly secure while doing it. Not quite as robust as I expected and the small camera connector on the top (connects the camera to the Gorilla pod) certainly feels as if it won't last that long. We'll see, but otherwise pleased with it.

Light weight and flexible
The Gorilla Pod is a must have for your kit bag. This one is for mothing much bigger than a large smart phone or Go-Pro size bit of kit.It has a nice little quick mount connection on the top so allow you to swap out your equipment quick and easily although to do that you will need to purchase extra mounts to make it extra convenient. Its ultra flexible legs mean you can put it anywhere and even wrap it round something to fix it in place and any angle. Its extremely well made too and well take a battering making it great for outdoor use as well as indoor. For what it is its a pretty decent price and as I said at the start I highly recommend it.If you have any further questions please ask away and I will answer

Great tripod, be aware of the size it is small.
I bought this thinking it was the larger gorily pod, I was disappointed when it arrived to see just how small it actually is. None the less it is a great tripod. I wouldn't recommend it with a DSLR as it can tip over if it's not at the right angle, but with my Sony A5000 its perfectly fine. The rubber and silicone (I think) allow it to grip to almost any surface without problem, also the individual bends allow you to position and move the tripod exactly how you want to get the perfect shot. The quick release on the tripod comes in handy so you don't have to keep unscrewing and rescrewing it back into place possibly wearing down the threads on your camera. For the price I would recommend but I know I will have to go back and purchase the larger gorilla pod which was the one I originally wanted.

Excelente marca, buen producto, materiales solidos

Better than imitation products
Wonderful product. For having tried one of the cheaper Chinese imitation products, you can immediately tell the improved quality by moving the leg joints and feel how much sturdier they are. My only concern is if the joints will remain strong long considering its all made of plastic and so many moving parts. Otherwise, it does the job very well.

Extremely Versatile Tripod- (Mini-Neistat Tripod)
Great tripod for small cameras and smartphones. I bought this as a tripod for my phone, and it works great for taking videos. I initially became aware of Joby Gorillapod tripods because Youtuber Casey Neistat uses one of the larger models. Thought I would try out this smaller, cheaper model; and I was very pleased!Pros:-Small and easy to take in backpack or daypack.-Can be bent to work in a variety of situations.-Can be wrapped around tree limbs, guard rails, poles, etc.-Can also make a great monopod for selfies or to stabilize the camera/smartphone for shots.-Great for time lapses or Casey Neistat type vlog shots.Cons;-Not able to hold up anything too heavy (I wouldn't recommend anything larger then a point and shoot or smartphone)-Does not come with a phone mount (you can buy one of these for cheap tho) (I have a pink one as seen in the photos. I got it for $2.50 at walmart!)Overall a very reliable and versatile tripod. It is always in my backpack for any time I want to get some cool vlog style shots or time lapses of my day to day actvities! It is not too expensive either! Very reasonable for what you get out of it!

Gelungenes Geschenk!
Klare Kaufempfehlung!
