its an ideal audio front end for any computer, output is loud and clear, same for headphones, quality is outstanding, regarding both sound and build, the large volume knob is weighted and very pleasing, allowing very fine control of your master output.all 3 usb ports are midi and power capable.its a very simple, easy way to get 24 bit 96khz with zero load, those wanting extra, will need to pay for it, with windows 10 supporting multiple audio chips in the same instance, its easy to add extra inputs or outputs when you need to, simply buy purchasing another usb audio interface.now, you can buy a 2x2 for the same price, but you wont get the volume knob, and 3 usb ports, or the build/sound quality, and those cheap usb 2x2 interfaces tend to be sketchy, and are only 48khz, so dont bemoan the lack of inputs, if you want that, an extra 32 quid will get you the m-tracks bigger brother, which is a 2x2, with the same 96hz quality.this is ideal for anyone needing and audio front end for a pc or laptop, with the bonus of a midi capable usb hub and hardware volume control, ideal for dj's, producers, gamers, film lovers and home stereo enthusiasts.My only wish is that M-Audio do an expansion for it, with another box the same size, but just for inputs.i really do like it.

This unit is as it states a USB Hi quality Playback device with a built in powered USB hub. It is a solid well built device that does what it says on the box, an upgrade to the standard sound devices built in most laptops without taking up much of your precious space.My only criticism is not with the unit but with the packaging in comparison to the unit the box is too big lots of polystyrene it could easily be half size.

I bought this item along with the AV32.1 speakers in March 2019. Dissappointingly, after 18 months the speakers started crackling and popping, and after a few weeks would not turn on (electronic failure). I returned them and got a refund (One of the reasons that I like Amazon - no quibbles). Being well out of warranty, I opened the device to find that the one of the ICs had popped. I figured out the part number, happy to do a repair, but it is a microcontroller ( (Freescale MCF51JU32VFM 32-bit Microcontroller) which would also have a software component which would be less easy to source - so won't bother.I do like the mechanical build, and like having a volume control near my keayboard, so will probably tap into the circuitry after the CS4344 DAC and use it as a pure analogue pre-amp/volume controller.Pitty.M-Audo probably needs to work on the digital aspects of their consumer devices.

Really pleased! Using in conjunction with hosa balanced cables and m audio bx5s. Completely eliminated the hissing problem i was having prior. Sounds great from the speakers no noise, just whats playing. Havent tried the usb hub itself yet but actual build quality is excellent.

I'm using this hub on my laptop. This hub was a replacement for my mixer console, which was only used for volume controlling. And I thought - it will be a great idea to replace big mixer with small knob.It worked sort-of fine, but there are some downsides which impact my user-experience a lot.1) each time you connect hub to laptop - your speakers makes really loud clicking sound. Advice from m-audio support - "turn of your speakers". As you can imagine, turning my speakers on and off 5-8 times per day is not really nice.2) after laptop wakes up from hibernation or sleep mode you have to reconnect usb cable. Which brings us to point #1. So add another 5-8 times of turning off your speakers when opening your laptop.

Product arrived quickly, well packaged. Easy to setup, sound quality is fantastic, all works well - Except for slight deadzone out of left channel towards lower end of volume dial. Definitely issue with m-track, tried contacting support about issue twice and have been ignored both times, though they did send a "We hope we helped" email a week later. Isn't a make or break issue, but if you have an issue send back via amazon rather than relying on any support from m-audio.

La consegna è arrivata senza problemi nè ritardi, l'imballaggio era perfetto, molto accurato all'interno. M-Track hub è molto utile se si vuole fare un mini impianto in casa senza dover ricorrere a vari impianti audio ingombranti e molto costosi, pulisce l'audio della mia M-Audio BX5 molto bene e si possono mettere pure i 32 bit, nella confezione mandata a me era munito di un alimentatore europeo e non ho avuto nessun problema nel montarlo e seguire le istruzioni. Consiglio l'M-audio se sei indeciso se prendere una scheda audio a 20-30 euro o questa, un prodotto molto valido per le mie esigenze.

Helps solved an issue where certain sounds would give a static pop out of my monitors. The monitors were preciously plugged into a 1/8 audio jack on my motherboard. It seems that it generated a lot of noise. This allowed for a much cleaner sound.A troubleshooting tip for those if they are having troubles: make sure the hub is plugged into the powerline properly. I had difficulties at first where it was generating a very faint sound if you put your ear closer to monitor. Turns out I had kicked the plug on my power bar by accident. Probably obvious but someone could be quick to assume its speakers, or wires or defective device.Also make sure you got drivers and you are good to go!

Je cherchais absolument une carte son compacte, sans fioritures, et avec un énorme bouton de master. C'est chose faite !Le son est nickel et elle possède un bon gain.Attention toutefois, elle n'a pas d'entrée ligne ou micro, et pas de port MIDI.Mais les 3 entrées USB sont bien pratique !Sur mon laptop ils ne sont pas utiles pour le moment car j'ai 4 ports USB, mais le jour ou j'en changerai je pense que je serais bien content de les avoir vu la tendance actuelle à avoir de moins en moins d'USB sur les laptop.
