Shea Moisture Coconut and Hibiscus Conditioning Curl/Style Milk 237 ml

Great product lovely smell makes hair feel nice and soft. I have frizzy, course, curly hair and it really works well on my hair it defines the curl, one thing tho l would recommend you use it with the Shea Moisture Curling Souffle, it works better together.

This was the first time I purchased this product and because I already use the Curl Enhancing Smoothie and the leave in conditioner- I thought this was just an extra product that I probably would not use....boy was I wrong this is excellent to use after washing or when DDs hair gets wet, it makes it soft and when the hair dries it does not have that frizzy unkept look you can sometimes get. I also use it on DDs hair when she goes swimming to stop her hair absorbing chlorine.

Lovely hair cream. I don't think milk is an appropriate description. It works for my Afro, making it easy to comb. And it holds my hair well. The fragrance is refreshing, and it does not leave my hair feeling or looking greasy. It begins to leave sediments after a couple of days or so, but this is not a problem if you wash your hair regularly, and it washes out easily. My only quibble is the bottle it comes in. The cream is too thick for it, making it quite frustrating to squeeze out, especially when it is finishing. It should be in a tub. I hope the makers pay attention to this. I would have given it five stars.

I love this hair product so much!! I use it alongside the shea moisture smoothie. I have very curly hair (not exactly sure what curl type though), that is very prone to frizz, But after I started using this, I have significantly less frizz and my curls actually stay defined :) I really struggle to manage my hair and keep it in a nice condition, but the shea moisture hair products have made me like my hair again. My friends and family have noticed the difference in my hair and my mum now wants to try the hair products, as she has curly hair also. These products smell absolutely gorgeous as well, which is a bonus and many people havc omplimented on the smell. 100% recommend, I use it with the smoothie product and some coconut water or oil and my hair looks really nice

This is getting 3 stars because it's much better than the jbco styling lotion which by the way literally broke my hair because it left it so dry. I apply this after I've washed and conditioned then added the jbco leave in conditioner. Does add moisture to my hair and is easy to comb through. The cons for me are the size. You're spending so much for so little and I have bought products that are cheaper and leave your hair softer. Also, the artificial coconut smell is completely overwhelming. I don't know if it's because I'm pregnant but it's just not an appeasing smell to me at all.

Really excited to try this product after reading lots of fab reviews. The smell is to die for and this product is great and leaves your hair feeling so soft. I've also used this on my daughters hair and she likes it too and come ted on how soft it made her hair. I will be purchasing the whole range. I mainly use this product after washing my hair and when I want to give my have a break from the heat as I usually wear my natural hair straight. Honestly cannot fault this product.

I have used many Shea Moisture products in the past but this is like putting glue on my hair. Totally disappointed as I read the reviews. Firstly, there is no chance of getting it out of the bottle it is just so thick. I had to cut the bottle base and put it into a tub. I have 2c hair and seriously my hair feels like it is all glued up.

It was everything I thought it would have been. Love it and the smell is immaculate.

This styling milk works wonderfully on my biracial kids' hair! I'm the white parent with no prior experience with curly hair, so I'm constantly experimenting and learning how to care for their hair. I've tried a whole bunch of products and combinations thereof, with varied results. This is by far one of my most successful finds! I'm attaching a couple of photos so you can see what it looks like. The pictures are of my daughter, who is 3 years old, black/white biracial with fine, silky 3b hair. Note: this styling milk isn't the only thing in her hair, so I can't give it full credit for this look, but it is providing most of the definition and hold. Here's a description of how I use it. I wash her hair once a week, and follow with Ouidad Krly Kids No More Knots leave-in conditioner. I tie it up in a protective hairstyle (banded ponytail) and she goes to bed. The next morning, I define her curls with the Shea Moisture Curl & Style Milk, shaping each curl with it around my finger (yeah... it's a lot of work, but I only do it once a week). After her hair dries, it's nice and shiny with beautiful soft curls. I tie it back in a banded ponytail for naps and bedtime, to protect the curls. At the end of each day, and especially by morning, there's some frizz from her just rolling around playing or sleeping, but that's inevitable. Each morning, I touch up the curls that have frizzed, again with the Shea Moisture Curl & Style Milk. Just a little bit with a spray of water. That way she can get through the week looking gorgeous, with minimal daily upkeep. This styling milk provides the best balance of hold, moisture and softness, without feeling greasy or crunchy. In the photos, day 2 and day 4 are the days after hair wash day. On day 4 you can already see a bit of frizz on top, but that was in the evening, after a full day of wear. For a rambunctious 3-year-old, I'd say the curls are holding up quite well! There's only one thing I don't like about this milk - the design of the bottle. The milk isn't really a milk - more like butter! It's thick and can't flow very well. You have to keep the bottle upside down, otherwise it requires a lot of hard squeezing. I wish the cap was wider and more stable so you could store the bottle upside down. Inconvenient, but not enough to drop a star. Otherwise, the product is awesome! UPDATE: It's been several years now that I've been using this product and I still LOVE it! It's the best I've found so far for defining my kids' curls and maintaining that definition throughout the week. It really does last all week, with minor daily touch-ups. My kids are 5 and 3 now and still get a lot of compliments on their curls! The younger one's hair is tighter - closer to a 4, and now that he has some more length to it, the coils hold together all week and he only needs a touch up towards day 4 or 5, and only around his temples. The rest holds up great! I'm including a couple more photos for reference. I can't praise this product highly enough!
