Amazing product
I have typical thick, mixed raced curly hair, it is quite long and soft but also has ALOT of frizz. I have recently had blonde highlights put in my hair and found that this made my hair even more frizzy and left my curls being limp and basically dead! I have heard a lot about this product from friends and looked at the online reviews and it sounded amazing so despite the price I thought I would take the risk. (It's a lot of money to spend on a product you don't know is going to suit your needs) so you can imagine how happy I am to find that my hair has immediately gotten curlier, less frizz but a lot of volume curls are more defined and I didn't even use a lot of it! Definitely recommending to friends, I don't usually write reviews but honestly this product is 10/10. Hope this helps

Amazing Mixed Chicks
I have long frizzy, curly hair and after a search on the internet found this product. I thought...well, may as well give it a try,...I am so pleased that I did. This product is truly amazing, but, for me it works best on nearly dry hair, when I used it on wet hair, it didn't work at all, so my advice is - experiment , to find how Mixed Chicks best works for you. It leaves my hair in quite tight, smooth, individual curls. I am not of mixed race, just a British woman with frizzy hair, which it appears I have now seen the back of....yay!!! Thanks Mixed Chicks!

Great product for curly hair!
This is my first time using any product from the brand and so far I am impressed. My hair type is 3c/4a, it's really thick and just above shoulder height when it is curly. Pros of the product - Makes my hair feel moisturised without the combination of any other products - A little really goes a long way; I have really thick hair and even a pea sized amount is enough coverage at times - The bottle itself makes it easy to apply it, rather than a tub having to put your fingers into it Cons of the product - It doesn't smell great, it has a paint like smell to it - Leaves white residue when mixed with ecostyler gel - It is expensive - The bottle is on the small side considering the price Overall I haven't seen my curls this defined and healthy in such a short period of time. My hair regime is the same except replacing shea moisture black castor oil leave in conditioner for this, the main difference between the two is that this is more creamy and shea moisture is slightly more watery however I have noticed more of a difference with this product. The only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is simply because of the price.

Excellent product and does what it claims
Works really well in my daughter's hair. Definitely controls frizz, softens and makes her hair more manageable. I only use this on wet or damp hair hair and haven't experienced any residual flakes once dry. I can imagine using on dry hair may cause it to flake up though as it is quite a thick mixture. I'll be buying more when the current bottle runs out, which looks like it will last for a while. It is a little pricey but since it works and will last a long time, I personally think it's definitely worth buying.

Well worth it!
If left unconditioned my hair can feel wirey, dry and can easily knot up. My hair looks bushy and is actually "very thirsty". Using a conditioner after shampooing is a must. After using a regular conditioner; I then use the Mixed Chicks leave-in conditioner. It is the product I have been looking for that gives my now curly hair that extra umph. Definining my curls for a quick every day style or allowing me to twist my hair into loose ringlets for a smarter going out style. The product holds my hair all day and sometimes even through to the next day. This is my second purchase of the larger bottle. I see it as value for money as I use it every day/every other day and it lasts for months. Top marks!

Too much perfume...
First time I bought this product because the one I buy usually was not available, so I thought to try something different and the reviews recommending this were good. This product "smells" so much that it is difficult for me to take in therefore 3 stars. Otherwise product good, hair stays curled.

It’s expensive but it’s the only one we’ve found that works.
After spending a lot of money on trial and error I’ve once again come back to mixed chicks. It’s absolutely brilliant. I highly recommend this for frizzy, wavy, curly, thick and thin hair. I’ve even curled my own (naturally straight) hair and used mixed chicks in stead of hair spray. Just to lightly hold the curls. My daughters hair is very dry but this product is the only one that doesn’t dry it out further or leave build up in her hair. Leaves her hair looking healthy wavy and natural. Absolutely love this stuff!

Excellent!
This is the best product I have found for mixed race, long, very curly hair. Using it daily and definitely less breakage, tangle free, beautifully defined ringlets that last all day, feel great to touch with no sticky or oily feel. Have found that by rinsing yesterday's product from hair every morning before re-applying it's like a daily co-wash. Expensive but results are fantastic. It's the only product I'm using now and has lasted around 10 weeks.

My wife has combo of 2b/3c curly hair that is prone to breakage and frizz, and under recommendation from her stylist we picked up this product. According to her, its been real a game changer. Her hair seems to be much more resistant to breakage and looks very healthy and shiny after using it for a few months. She has a whole routine for the hair care but this is the leave in she says gives the best results and keeps her hair moisturized, This product in tandem with a curl cream, keeps her hair nice and defined. She just added this to her routine a few months ago and the changes has been noticeable, she loves the results and feels better about her (beautiful) curls, so I would give this product 5 stars. Wife tested, Husband approved.

I have curly, grey with white hair. There are a lot of hair products for curly hair and a reasonable amount of products for grey and white hair but it's hard to find products for curly grey and/or white hair. Most hair products not made for grey and white hair can leave a dull, pale yellow tint to the hair. Also grey and white hair is often dry so products should include a moisturizing element. I've found that the best conditioners for me are somewhat light, leave-in conditioners. I used one specific leave-in hair conditioner and one hair gel for years but I can no longer find either product so I've been on a search for new products to replace my old favorites. I purchased Mixed Chicks Curl Defining & Frizz Eliminating Leave-In Conditioner because I was somewhat frustrated that I couldn't find a leave-in conditioner for curly grey and white hair and this conditioner seemed like a good product for most curly hair. I purchased it with a strong hold sculpting gel and used the two together. I determined I needed a gel with a more flexible hold and, although the Mixed Chicks conditioner seemed to work reasonably well, the conditioner was not developed for grey and white hair and it is a pale yellow in color so I became concerned that it might leave a dull yellow tint to hair after a while. so after only a few uses, I decided to try another conditioner that might work better for my hair. The gel that I purchased with this conditioner was strong hold style and it was took much for my hair. I decided to replace both the conditioner and the gel. I purchased Not Your Mother's Defining Curl Talk Cream, Frizz Control Curl Talk Sculpting Gel with flexible-firm hold, and Refreshing Curl Talk Foam and began using that group of hair products exclusively. I liked them very much but I still didn't have the Goldilocks just right combination. I decided to try the Mixed Chicks leave-in conditioner with the Not My Mother's Frizz Control Curl Talk Sculpting Gel this evening. After washing my hair, I added a bit of conditioner and, after working it into my hair, a dollop of the Frizz Control gel. Then I used my very professional hair styling technique; I pushed my hair around a bit, scrunched it a bit and headed out the door to the grocery with my hair still wet. The humidity was 79%. When I got home, my hair was dry, soft, nicely curly with waves, and had NO frizz. Seventy-nine percent humidity virtually guarantees frizz most of the time but not tonight! In addition to a conditioner that works well, I also will only use products that are cruelty free and have recyclable containers, although it's not always clear how recyclable the containers are when I order them to be delivered until I receive the product and can read the actual container. This conditioner has the PETA cruelty free symbol and 2 symbols that indicate the bottle is made with a recyclable, biodegradable resin. The bottle also has a symbol that indicates the conditioner is good for 18 months. I can't say for certain that this leave-in conditioner will work as well for others but I would recommend giving it a try for anyone searching for a good leave-in conditioner for curly hair. The Mixed Chicks conditioner was overpowered by the previous gel I used so I couldn't really tell how it worked. When I paired it with the Not My Mother's gel this evening my hair looked and felt like it did when I used my previous, much loved conditioner and gel combination. I am a little concerned that this conditioner my discolor my grey and white hair. The conditioner is actually a pale yellow color so it may not work in the long run. I'll update this review if it discolors my hair after using it a while.

I took my time to evaluate the product, and now, after my 4th purchase, I feel confident to write a review, considering the long/term results of the leave-in! I do have a 3b/3c hair, and I am a total mixed chick, with blended Jewish/African/Portuguese origins. My hair is extremely dry, and I do live close to the polar circle (so, the weather conditions do not help). Since I moved here (ca. 5 years), I've struggled to find a product suitable for my hair, and I finally found it! Before mixed chicks, I've tried all possible famous brands (Sebastian, Paul Mitchel, Deva Curl, etc), and the results were never what I was used to have in my home country. Now, I finally feel that I am investing my money in a good hair product! Mixed chicks managed to give me all the results I would like to have: well-defined curls, no frizz, controlled volume, hydrated curls and, finally, the overall look where I can recognize myself again! If your curl are above 3b, I totally recommend! As a final note, I do not recommend mixing it with Sebastian or Paul Mitchel products because I've tried and I got dandruff while combining products. However, this side-effect disappeared after I stopped mixing, and I am very happy with the product!

J'ai enfin trouvé le conditionneur qui conserve mes boucles impeccables pendant quelques jours jusqu'au prochain lavage. Mes cheveux ne deviennent pas gras, ni lourd simplement bien hydratés pour conserver mes boucles impeccables.
