ABEST 4 Set Airbrush Spray Gun Wash Cleaning Tools Needle Nozzle Brush Glass Cleaning Pot Holder

There are many of this type of airbrush cleaning jar available and they appear to be pretty much identical. I chose this one based on price and the fact that it came with some additional cleaning tools which others did not.The jar itself is pretty good. It is supplied with a filter fitted plus a couple of spares and has the normal two metal inserts for the lid - one an airbrush holder and the other a foot to keep the pot steady when an airbrush is in the holder. Most gravity fed airbrushes will fit the holder. My Iwata HP-CH fits it well in spite of the MAC valve at the front. It may not be suitable for siphon fed brushes with an underslung bottle.When spraying thinners or airbrush cleaner into the pot, a fair amount of vapour escapes through the filter, so I always add a couple of discs of kitchen paper as additional fine filters, which seems to help.I'm wary of the cleaning tools. All the cleaning brushes seem way to large for my airbrush and I can't imagine what the reamer like tools are for, but I won't be using anything that aggressive looking inside my brush. The little nozzle reaming tool has been used with caution and is quite handy for cleaning dried paint from the nozzle, but this must be used with great care to prevent damage. Iwata nozzles are not cheap. In short, if you want a cleaning pot this one is fine, but dont rely on the extras to clean your airbrush safely.Every product I review is one I have purchased myself.I rely on unbiased reviews when making shopping choices so that’s exactly what you’ll get from me. Works as it should and is very good at stopping fumes with the filter on it. Very sturdy and just feel solid.Could not be without it.

This is a fantastic little set up! I'm a total and absolute beginner to air brushing. Until this set arrived I had never even seen one before.So I jumped right in. I used some little pots you can get for mixing tattoo ink. A few drops of air brush thinner and a bit of my warhammer paint until it was a consistency of milk (that's what I read it should be like) and off I went.The set up it very easy to put together. Just screw the hose to the pump and the gun and that's it. It took a bit of experimenting on some paper to get used to how you push the trigger for just air, then pull it back slowly for paint, but I soon got the hang of it.The pump isnt too loud, but it's not quiet. You know its on and running, but a bit of music in the background and you soon forget it's there.If you want an inexpensive way to get in to airbrushing your miniatures then get this set.

Brilliant easy to use

The glass pot is good, does its job. Cleaning tools are far too big and of little to no use.

Does what it says on the tin, although the thinnest wire is too thick to get through the nozzle of my airbrush. Only gripe, is it would be nice to be able to flip this open to empty slops from the paint pot. Otherwise it does the job. although the paintbrush holder seems to wear a little thin after a while i notice.

Excellent cleaning kit for airbrushes. The base is heavy and has a metal "foot" under the cradle, so it won't tip over when you set your airbrush on it; the cradle has a soft rubber material on it so your airbrush won't slip or get scratched. The lid easily unscrews for filling with water and cleaning afterwards and there's no leakage around the screw threads. It also comes with a selection of cleaning tools including various sizes of wire brushes and a very fine sharp pick for getting rid of small stubborn spots of dried-on paint in small areas like the nozzle. The set includes everything you need except water and airbrush cleaner fluid!

The gasket in the lid swells on contact with the vapours from paint solvents and will not fit. The lid thread was never good and after 7 months it stripped so the lid would not stay on. The remainiing tools are adequate but again, after 7 months the smallest brush is getting pretty bald.
