I regret not adding this to my registry from the get-go! First, the battery life is great; I tend to charge it every 2-3 days (if display isn’t on at all times). Secondly, many people mention the screen would turn off even when set to never. I came to realize that when you have the VOX setting on, it will default blank out the screen since it’s going based on sound. Once a noise is heard, it will turn on. If you’d like the screen on for a couple minutes or until you manually turn off, then turn off the VOX feature. Sound quality is great & picture is amazing; even when zoomed in, the quality is still great. The night vision works well and of course the quality will be a bit weaker but all in all worth the penny. I did notice that even with the blinds open, it switches to night vision, but I don’t mind that, it stays on day mode when lights are on. You have to keep the cam plugged in, but the receiver is wireless. Signal works great; I have a 2 story house and can get signal in every single room. Another plus, it’s Wifi-free. Highly recommend to add on your registry!!!

The media could not be loaded. I was browsing different types of cameras for monitoring what my cat is usually doing in his queen size bed. This clean and fashion designed monitor caught my eyes. When I received this product, one thing surprised me is that it can be plug and use immediately without additional setup, unlike traditional monitors which require App download and wifi connection. The panel is so easy to use that I did not even need to open the instruction book!The camera provides excellent graphic quality and night vision. I can clearly see what my cat is doing in the dark. Thanks to the real time voice function, I can directly talk to my cat using the panel and see his confusing reaction. Another advantage worth to point out is that the long range connection is so good that I can still use it when I am in the different floor of my house. Compare to other product with similar feature, the price is also competitive.I would highly recommend this product to someone who prefers easy setup and asks for high graphic quality. It is one of the best products I have ever purchased and I believe you will definitely enjoy this excellent design and quality baby monitor.

The DREO Baby Camera Monitor arrived on schedule. It was well-packaged, and the product appears to be well-made and of good quality. I connected the camera and monitor to the power outlet. I was surprised at how quickly the camera connected after turning on the monitor. I did not even bother reading the included manual because the setup process was so simple. The monitor's controls and display menu are extremely simple to use, understand and navigate. The audio is very clear. The Camera's 2x and 4x zoom options are acceptable, and the display is clear. The camera also performs nicely at night.This DREO Baby Camera Monitor has exceeded my expectations and I am sure my sister will be happy to use this camera to closely monitor her daughter.

The audio is inconsistent!! Sometimes my baby is literally screaming and there is no sound! I often hear my baby crying upstairs before I hear it on the cam (or I never hear it on the cam). You have to periodically check the camera to make sure the baby isn’t screaming. I think the issue is because it tries to not pick up ambient noise but since both of our kids have sound machines in their room the sound just doesn’t work right.Also the image quality isn’t anything special and the close up is super blurry (my last camera was much better - goodbaby brand but they stopped selling it on Amazon so I got this one). It also makes an audible click when it switches to night mode which it does whenever the room is dim. My baby is a heavy sleeper but with a light sleeper this could be a problem. We bought this for the double screen feature but the sound is weird as it switches between the two rooms so we end up not using that anyway.This camera could be good for older kids. We use one of the two cameras in my 3yo’s room. The moveable camera makes it easy to check in on her while she’s playing independently in her room. The mic also works really well (best feature) so we can tell her to get into bed when she’s playing in her room instead of sleeping at bedtime.TLDR: The sound is inconsistent which sort of defeats the purpose (may be an issue because we use sound machines). Don’t get this for a baby, it’s not worth the money. Could be good for a toddler or preschooler because the mic feature is good and clear.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this baby monior for my best friend's baby shower and she loved it! We ran a quick test together and found it doesn't need internet/wifi to support the monitoring and communication. It is wonderful because the couple is concerned of information leakage and radiation from wifi that could be harm to the new born.Regardless that we went to a remoted room with long distance and a few walls in the middle, the picture maintained clear without any delay. The screen is large and clear and it worked very well when we turned off the light at night. The picture just switched from colorful into black-and white during the light altering, but we had no problems to see stuffs clearly.The two-way audio system is quite impressive. Pressing the button on the controller, we can speak via the baby monitor in real time without any noise. The couple really love the funcation simply because they can easily comfort the baby if she cries which gives the other one some time to go to her room in person. My friend even considered to buy another camera to make it a two-way video coversation.

Bought new at full cost. Followed box opening carefully including downloading app - that was mistake!! After 8 days now know app’s only function is to register product and extend warranty. That was not easy - kept changing small case to large case and changed my region from uk to USA which apparently cannot be changed by anyone. My experience of customer service was poor which leaves me wondering what it will be like if something goes wrong with product !? If you want peace of mind on after sales think again!! Product has good functionality. Have not rated battery as after first full charge it required recharge after 24 hours and had not been placed in situ so jury’s out on that one. Got to be tech savvy to use monitor and if so it’s easy. However for first time anxious parent/carer some simple humanised tips/ advice along lines of “ this is how it is best used/sited” would be helpful.

Bought to replace a Luvion monitor. The picture quality and size is excellent, and the night vision. Battery life is excellent, I've used it for over 12 hrs without charging, and still no where near low on the indicator.When wall mounted the sound on it's highest volume setting is quieter than I'd like, maybe as the microphone is at the back and fixed so can't be moved to pick up sound better. There is a short (around a second?) delay between live and what shows on the screen.A further plus is it doesn't require a wifi connection.Overall a good monitor for the money.

Wir haben das Dreo nun seit ein paar Tagen in Gebrauch und bisher sind wir damit zufrieden. Man kann sehr empfindlich einstellen und hört dann jeden kleinen Huster. Unser altes Babyphone war da nicht so empfindlich. Bei uns steht auf mittlerer Empfindlichkeit und wir bekommen sehr schnell mit, wenn was los ist. Der Ton ist gut und auch die Sprachausgabe an der Kamera ist überraschend klar.Kleiner Abzug bei der Lautstärke, die sich nicht ganz so fein einstellen lässt. Es gibt recht große Lautstärkestufen, ich hätte mir da eine feinere Abstufung gewünscht. Gerade Nachts wenn das Kind weint/schreit und wird man durch das Gerät direkt mit angebrüllt und sitzt senkrecht im Bett.Die Bildqualität ist sehr gut, die Nachtsicht könnte noch ein bisschen besser sein. Wir erkennen alles, nur beim alten Gerät war die Nachtsicht noch schärfer, dementsprechend sind wir da etwas kritisch.Die Uhrzeit ist nur im AM/PM-Format möglich, stört jetzt nicht sehr, aber ist erwähnenswert. Die Temperaturanzeige scheint genau zu sein, die Anzeige auf dem Elterngerät stimmt ziemlich gut mit der tatsächlichen Raumtemperatur überein.Fazit: Für den Preis eine solide Leistung. Wenn es jetzt noch hält und nicht nach einem Jahr kaputt geht, bin ich damit sehr zufrieden. Falls es kaputt geht, erscheint hier mein Update.

Vorsicht!Babyphone erkennt nicht alle Laute. Auch "Paniklaute" vom Baby nicht.Zum Glück stand ich nur 3 Meter entfernt als mein Baby sich plötzlich das Bettlaken schnappte und sich über das Gesicht zog. Es fing an Panik zu bekommen und lautere Geräusche von sich zu geben. Erst als er richtig geschrien hat, ist das Babyphone angesprungen.! Das Babyphone erkennt NICHT alle Töne vom Baby. Bei meinem Baby erkennt es nur die richtig lauten Schreie. Aber nicht wenn Babys "leiser" mäkert (zb weil Schnuller fehlt). Erst wenn es dann beim dritten Mal lauter wurde, ertönt der Ton im Babyphone.Finde ich absolut nicht gut, deswegen geht das Babyphone auch wieder zurück!Negativ : die camera hat ein Kabel (keine Batterie) und somit hat man immer ein zusätzliches Kabel rum hängen. (gefahrenpotential ;gerade auch nachts). Außerdem ist das Kabel nicht besonders lang, sondern nur wenige Zentimeter, sodass man ein Verlängerungskabel benötigt.Die Bildqualität bei Nacht ist sehr schlecht. Ist in schwarz /weiß und man kann das Gesicht vom Kind nicht klar sehen. (also auch nicht ob es sich gerade was in den Mund stopft).Das zoomen macht es noch schlimmer, da sieht man dann gar nix mehr außer einen dunklen, verspielten Bildschirm.Des weiteren finde ich nicht gut, dass camera und Elternteil max 30 cm entfernt sein dürfen, da es sonst eine Rückkopplung gibt.Die camera soll 1m vom babybett entfernt angebracht werden. Empfand Ich als schwierig da ich nicht überall passende Möbel habe wo ich die camera anbringen kann. Daher benötigt man eine Extra Befestigung, die man sich dazu kaufen muss. (kosten etwa 24 Euro).POSITIV: ist, dass man eigentlich keine Bedienungsanleitung benötigt, da alles selbsterklärend ist. Das Handling ist also einfach. Die camera an sich macht auch einen stabilen Eindruck. Auch das Elternteil empfinde ich von guter Qualität.Die Bildqualität bei Tag ist extrem gut. Auch beim zoomen ist die Qualität noch richtig gut. Hat mich positiv überrascht.Des weiteren gibt es eine kostenlose 30 Monatsgarantie wenn Wan sich registriert.Fazit: Leider muss ich das Babyphone zurück senden, aufgrund der beschriebenen Problematik und auf die Suche nach einem Neuen gehen (nicht Philips Avent da Akku nach 2 Jahren defekt. Egal bei welchem Modell).
