That extra piece of safety that is a must have!
I ride my bike a lot and sometimes I am forced onto fast roads of which I wish to get off of quickly in order to remain safe. When exiting these roads I sometimes find myself feeling slightly overcome by fast vehicles. This is a perfect solution. If you are not confident with raising your arm to signal or just want that extra piece of safety then this is perfect. This product is well thought through... It has silicon pads that come with the brackets that fit onto your bike so not to damage it and stop if from moving around when you cycle. The LED's are very bright orange along with 1 red LED in the center that is permanently on along with 3 more that flash quickly when the indicator pod is on. There is also loud beeps set off by the bike that alerts those pedestrians who may not be looking at you. The indicator remote is fitted onto a bracket anywhere you place. The remote also easily is detached from the bracket by a sliding mechanism if you wish to hold it or so on. So far there are no problems what so ever with the manufacturing of this product. It is very stable and I feel confident with it when riding on my bicycle.

Good Product
I bought this product recently, Its easy to fit and I like the fact it give's the motorist more advance notice of your intentions when you are on the road. I also like the fact when the pod is on the there is flashing red strobe which helps draw the motorists attention and also gives further visibility in the dark. The product is robust and easily detachable if your leaving your bike unattended. Obviously you still need to use hand signals on certain occasions to give the motorists approaching from the front notice of your turning and signal intentions. Only negative I have found with product is on occasion when activating the right turn signal and then turned it off, it hasn't tuned off and continued, I have had to turn the pod off and then back on again to reset it. On the whole I am very pleased with the product.

Great for Mobility Scooters too !!
I have just bought a new mobility scooter called Travelscoot (Google "Travelscoot" to see how great it is). Having owned the previous Travelscoot I knew how wonderful the vehicle was, however, it never had reverse gear, which was not on the whole a problem. Where it was a problem was when we went on a cruise and entered a lift (elevator) to change decks. On most occassions I entered the lift and other passengers would crowd around me. When we got to our deck I had to push backwards with my feet and my wife informed the other passengers to beware as I was backing out. The new Travelscoot has reverse gear, whilst still retaining all the other benefits it had before - i.e. super lightweight (30lb) - ability to take a rider up to 25 stone (350lb) + luggage - cool looking (teenagers love it) - all that and it instantly collapses to the size of a babies buggy! It was designed by a disabled aircraft builder to go in the overhead locker of a plane, so that gives you an idea of how wonderful this is to travel the world with. Ok - so now I have a mechanicle means of backing out of a lift - however, when in reverse gear the Travelscoot does not emit a bleap etc. What then to do? That's where the IGGI Signal Pod Wireless Signalling System comes in. The Travelcoot looks like a mini bicycle when unfolded and has a similar, but larger, seat with down rod, so it should be ok. Fitting the system to my scooter was a breeze and it worked like a dream. No trailing wires, super styling and now when I back up I click the hazard warning feature and both indicators flash and emit a loud click, click, click. The unit has an on/off button, so no waste of batteries when not in use. Also, when the rear unit is on there is a central intermittent small flashing red light, so at night you always show a rear light. The handlebar control flashes on the button that has been pressed, so the rider is aware the unit is flashing - this is a good extra feature in case the clicks can't be heard from the rear unit. One other important feature, especially for cycle users, is that the rear unit easily slides on/off the fitment cradle for security. Looking now for a computer unit to tell me how far I have travelled, which is important to me regarding the Travelscoots lithium battery (lasts for 12-miles between charges)

Its a good idea and effective too.
I love this. A motorist has stopped me and said how good it is and how clear it is (it was dusk). Other motorists have slowed down or waited when i put the signals on. There were some reviews that said it was difficult for the wifi to kick in and sometimes I do have difficulty getting it to connect with the controller on the handlebars, but it has never failed. The controller bleeps when it is connected to the signaller and it is indicating, it if isnt connected, the left or right light on the controller lights up but there is no noise so you know if there is a problem. Needs to be used with hand signals though-just to be safe. But I dont understand why there isnt a signaller for the front of the bike too that could fit on the handlebar stem. A rear light blinks all the time when the controller and signaller are connected, so there's always a rear light. The fittings could be of a higher quality as its plastic and I would have expected an alloy. Additionally there needs to be a variety or universal fitting as I had to adjust it because it didnt fit well initially. It is fitted by removing the bike rack and mudguard so once its on the fitting is not easily removable but the light is removable. Fortunately, the fitting has holes in it that I have used to secure the whole thing by winding a lockable cable through it. But like the controller at the front, they are both removable.
