Refreshing zingy and soft - but bad packaging!
Product is awesome, has a lovely fresh taste and the juniper gives a little zingy kick. It's not crunchy not hard to chew as its got a more stewed kind of texture and is finely grated. Has been easy on my digestion and helped my IBS, despite not having the raw cultures or probiotics of other brands. I could never tolerate normal cabbage, ever. Problem comes from the poor packaging as others have said - its was sent in 3 layers of bubble wrap and an outer plastic bad. Glass jars! 3 of the 6 came broken, smashed into pieces, so all the wet juice was all over the parcel and my carpet. Amazon refunded instantly and have agreed to forward my concerns to the manufacturer for products to come boxed. You're protected by Amazon customer service (which is great!) but if you need this for an event or certain day, be careful.

Lovely stuff! Though a tad on the expensive side.
I am quite a fan of Sauerkraut & eat it often. I have to say this is certainly one of the tastier brands I have tried, but it is quite expensive for the portion you get. It works out roughly at £2.40 for a small jar 360g, so almost double the price for less than half the amount that you can obtain with other brands. I have defiantly enjoyed this Sauerkraut, however, I will not be buying it on the regular due to price, & instead will purchase ever now & then as a treat.

It goes with everything
I eat this all the time. ITS GREAT, good for you and give that nice picky flavour to virtually anything. Its not in vinegar either, which is a bonus

decent product
why oh why in the world would anyone go to the trouble of fermenting the product and then pasturise itthe heat will destroy all the enzimes and good stuuf that its used for.thats like buying a car only to find the engine is missing??what realy stokes me is they used to be a very good company one of the best.the only good thing about this is now they tell you its pasturised.I baught these a while ago to help with my gut problems but i knew as soon as i tasted it it was rubbish.i did not even bother returning them and dumped them in the bin which as far as i am concerned is the best place for them, that or a compost heep.please dont buy this as its and insult to Sauerkraut.
