Everyday low prices and free delivery on eligible orders. Review: Great buy for all Children - My husband and I have purchased a number of these books in the series to help our 3 daughters develop their Social and Emotional Learning, with the foresight that it will lead to them becoming less vulnerable to developing mental health issues as they move though the growing challenges of school and adolescence. Thankfully, our children love these books, which are highly engaging and flexible. We work though them together. Thanks to several tips and techniques our girls are becoming more adapt at controlling and combating negative thoughts and emotions as well as improving their communication skills. The books gently teach and inform by tapping into the child’s creativity, such as drawing, writing or making things i.e. worry jars. The books provide children with several mindful techniques and CBT methods which they can perform every day such as breathing techniques, yoga, meditation, exercise etc. At the back of the book there are several small tips for parents, and for children who may need a bit of extra help every now and then, the books give information on Childline & The Samaritans. All in all, a great buy for parents or anyone who works with young children. Review: Brilliant for grounding and positive focus - Even though this book starts off with all the negative things, I told my daughter to move back and forth through the book, so she did some work on the negative things and then added some positive into the mix, she has found it helpful and often comes to me to show her work. It has helped me as a parent to focus on the things that effect her and how they effect her, so I can support her and help her turn things around, giving her some good guidance when she's having worries and I'm not around. It's good for insight and I feel it would be helpful for any psychological support children may need.

A must for anxious child
My daughter had been really struggling with her emotions after having surgery after a accident, she was extremely anxious. Me buying this book initially caused offence, she asked why am i saying shes worried, whats wrong with her ect.. i explained if she didn't want to do any questions or writing and just to colour some pictures in and see how it goes.. the next day she apologized for being offended by the book and said its really helped her feel less worried. We have sat together and ive shown her how even as a adult i still have worries to. She now openly and confidently speaks of her worries and we tackle them together. Through this book i feel my child has become emotionally stronger, what more could we want for our children?

A great little book!!
Bought for my 7 year old son who is special needs and suffers with anxiety. It was very well received and he likes all the different activities. Great for some quiet time to calm himself. The illustrations are good and the activities are quite short which hold the attention of a young child. It’s a great way to understand your child’s thoughts and feelings without being too invasive. A great little book!!

Fantastic book with eye catching illustrations and fabulous child friendly activities
Bought for my 7 year old son, who was struggling with his anxiety. The activities are good for distracting him when he needs to calm down and the book provides him with some effective strategies, written in a child friendly way, for the next time he feels overwhelmed. Have purchased most of the books in this range and they have all been fantastic for helping my son :)

A great book to help anxious children
A great book packed full of pages which invite children to share how they feel and work through their emotions. Since the start of the coronavirus pandemic, my 7 year old daughter has been much more anxious than usual. Not only does she enjoy writing in the book but she said she will go to it whenever she feels worried because it really helps. Don't hesitate, it's great value and lets your child know you love them and want to help them and it also encourages them to talk about it.

Best Book Buy I've Ever Seen (For children/Teenagers that suffer with anxiety and worries.
I cannot fault this wonderful book,I bought it for my niece as she is what I call a little worrier and this book is the best book I've ever bought, there are lots of easy things for a child/Teenager and such a unique way of finding out what's on their mind/if they're happy/what made them happy/what made them sad etc.... There is also ideas in the book to get a jar to put worries in and to put the lid on to lock the worries away(Good for concerned family to discretely see). Also ideas for a happy jar. Also ideas for a bus/paper plane to write worries on and make them drive/fly away taking the worries away from the child. Faces for them to express themselves with plenty of examples of words they could use to describe these different emotions and lots more. It's just brilliant and helps the child and family to sort lots of problems out.

Great idea
As a retired teacher I read the reviews and I decided to get this book to help a friends child through a few difficulties. Initially I bought it for a holiday activity / travel book for the child but having looked st it in more detail I think it also will allow opportunities for the adult to talk to the child about situations, thoughts and feelings. I now intend to use it along with the parent to have a few 1-1 sessions to help build the child’s self esteem before the start of the new term, I will definitely look at other books in the series. Great springboard for gentle action

I love it. My kids love it. Super cute and fun stocking stuffer or Easter gift that isn’t candy or plastic toys.

Estupendo para edades a partir de 10, antes hará falta ayuda y explicaciones por parte de un adulto para casi todo. Muy entretenido y válido para abrir el camino del diálogo.
