Little powerhouse of a sub
This is a great little sub for the money. I prefer it to the SVS sb1000/2000. It has better low volume performance. I also think it’s a better choice for music than a rsl speedwoofer 10mk2. It’s great piece of gear for a multi-use system like my living room where it’s used for movies/TV/music and you’re not looking for sub 20hz output. My pair are good down to 21hz in room.

Very Solid Subwoofer
Don’t forget to wait until your new speaker or sub is passed the break in period before passing judgement. This sub is great.

Sound is very low.
I topped the volume then only I could hear little..Not much sound coming. On the other hand I used Altos 12 inch subwoofer, at only tiny bit volume, it seemed it going to blow away the windows. Although it came one day earlier, and the packaging was amazing, I returned the Rel for its low sound.

Quality sound!
Subwoofer sound imaging is hard to achieve. This is by far the best subwoofer I ever own. For music application is outstanding For movies is very good: you may add another 12" or 15" subwoofer to image the low-frequency spectrum. Better than the SVS sb-1000 and sb-2000; much better value than the SVS micro 3000.

$349 REL vs $499 Klipsch RP: dual 10” subwoofers
I have only been an AV enthusiast for the past 20 years and have auditioned quite a few subwoofers in my time, to include big store subwoofer brands like Rel, Klipsch, and Definitive technology. I have owned two of these 10” Rel subwoofers, I got on sale for $349 each, for over a year now and highly recommend them as they are easy to calibrate and blend in well with my component system, which consists of items that are about $300 each as I am on a budget and look for items that are the best bang for the buck, affordable, mid-tier, and absolutely sound great! Which is why these Rel Subwoofers fit in so nicely with my ELAC Debut 2.0 7.2.4 Dolby Atmos setup. IMHO, I highly recommend 2 10” subwoofers over one larger subwoofer as dual subwoofers really help make an immersion experience for both movies and music. I like Rel because like ELAC, they do BOTH movies and music equally well. The Klipsch and definitive technology subwoofers I had were definitely more for a cinematic experience and were too boomy for music. While my Denon AVR-x4500h Audyssey calibration blends these subs in well I did purchase a Dayton Audio DSP-LF for each sub and bought the $4.99 iwoofer companion app to blend these subs in even better than what Audyssey could do. The DSP’s I purchased were about $62 each but I think they stopped making them now most people get the minidsp 2x4HD for about $349 to further calibrate their subs. Calibrating your speakers and subwoofers are essential for having an accurate Dolby Atmos experience and is how you get the most out of your equipment. I don’t know how important it is but I also got a RCA Y-Splitter so one of my discrete subwoofer lines is going into both the the left and right input of the Rel Subwoofers, as pictured. Also, I have tried a lot of different subwoofer cables and cannot tell a difference between the mediabridge subwoofer cable and the blue jeans cable (BJC) subwoofer cable so I would definitely save your money by not getting anything better than mediabridge but thats up to you! In conclusion, this Rel Subwoofer does exactly what you want it to do, which is blend well into a calibrated dolby atmos setup and still be able to throw out a lot of bass when needed and can be easily customized with calibration software or an external DSP. Happy Subwoofer hunting! Please note that a Y-Splitter and DSP is certainly not required for this subwoofer as it is highly accurate on its own!

Gratamente sorprendido y MUY recomendado.
