Rimmel Fix & Perfect Makeup Primer, 30ml (Pack of 1)

It’s affordable and amazing 🤩 I love how it feels and glides on so silkySince I began using I have found my makeup sits much better, lasts longer and blends more easilyI am not sure if it contains sun protection but I got caught on a day that looked overcast when it began at the seaside on holiday which turned into a scorcher… and had no sunblock in my handbag however whilst everywhere else on me is peeling now- my face hasn’t and has a lovely tan!I tend to use moisturiser, then the primer and a tinted moisturiser and really find I no longer need foundation when I use it under a tinted moisturiser, it just smooths everything perfectly and stops it slipping off or looking too greasy within a few hours but I have used it with full foundation and been amazed by the difference when I didn’t use this primer to using it. My cousin is a make up artist and introduced me to this one over much more expensive brands as this is her favourite too!My only gripe is I wish it was available in larger sizes although the convenience of carrying it in my handbag doesn’t disappoint me but since I use it everyday I wouldn’t mind a larger tube for at home as well as handbag sized - that said it does last me a month or two despite using everyday because you really don’t need that much with how it glides easily when you first apply it

I'm a lady if a certain age who doesn't want botox so this is ideal for me. It's not polyfilla but it does a great seemless job of giving my skin a good base for slapping on some foundation. I think it's value for money as you don't need a lot ....I think it makes a difference to your overall look. Makeup seems to last longer and look better.

Decent product but very watery - which isn’t a negative if that’s what your used to

This is by far the best primer I have used.I have tried: W7 Prime Magic Face Primer Camera ReadyRimmel Stay Matte PrimerRevlon PhotoReady Perfecting Primer (around £12)and even the Benefit Porefessional Primer (which is over £20!)I actually prefer it to the Benefit primer!Primer is supposed to make your make-up go on smoothly, providing a dewy and even finish. It's also supposed to make your make-up last all day. This primer leaves my skin luxuriously soft without feeling greasy or heavy. I personally never have problems with my makeup going patchy and it does last a full 16 hour day for me (although I do use good makeup - i.e. Max Factor Face-finity All Day Flawless foundation and Estee Lauder double wear concealer). I am 21 years of age and have normal, healthy skin.How I use the product:I moisturise my face with Olay Total Effects 7-in-1 Anti-ageing moisturiser and wait around 20 seconds before applying a pea-sized amount to my face. I sweep it over the areas that I am going to be applying make-up to (my nose, cheeks, chin and forehead) and wait about 20 seconds before applying my foundation with a foundation brush.This really seems to sink into my skin and provide added moisture, making my skin look dewy and fresh. On days where I have been rushing or daydreaming whilst doing my makeup I have applied my foundation and wondered why my foundation hasn't glided on seamlessly and looks somewhat dull. Then I have realised that I forgot to put this primer on! Primer really does make a difference to your make-up and this one is perfect. It is the right consistency (thick and creamy but not heavy) and has no unpleasant smell and doesn't clog my pores since I rarely ever have spots or blemishes. As previously mentioned, I actually prefer it to the expensive Benefit Porefessional primer which did not leave my skin dewy.I have used this product for years, its perfect for me and I very much doubt I will find a better one :)

The media could not be loaded. It's a good primer can be worn with out without makeup, spreads lovely over your skin, it's not a thick texture, only thing I don't like about this primer it's not good for oily skin.

I have used this primer from Rimmel for many years. For the price, it is a great product, has a long lasting finish that smooths your pores and makes your skin both look and feel smooth. I struggle with dry skin, yet this primer keeps my skin feeling hydrated all day. Sits well under makeup and lasts for a full days wear even when busy such as at the gym. A must use in my skincare routine. Definitely recommend.

A lot better and cheaper than other primers I have used. Smooth and even coverage great for mature skin like mine

This works well enough and isn't overpriced like the "higher end" primers. I'm still a bit on the fence about this stuff as I haven't worn makeup for a long time, and generally dislike doing so. But I had a water based one before that was terrible for my "double wear" foundation - this one worked a lot better.
