3M Respirator Half Mask Lightweight Blu

i bought this mask last week: i'm surprised at how efficient - and surprisingly comfortable - it is. i'm wearing it in dusty situations, and it seems to work really well. if you're a claustrophobe you might find it a little disturbing to start with - but you soon get used to it, once you've found you can actually breathe! a tip for spectacles wearers: put the mask on first, then your specs, otherwise you can get the lenses marked as you pull the mask onto your face. update: it's a really good mask - i've been using it to filter dust from cat litter - but after a while it gets harder and harder to breathe through it: presumably it's become clogged, though you can't tell that from looking at it. as i've only had it a month or two, this makes it quite an expensive mask. however, it certainly does the job. second update: this will be my fourth buy, to date. i find the masks last at least a year, if you give them a once-over with a vacuum cleaner nozzle from time to time. excellent for keeping out dust from cat litter, if you're asthmatic. the fit round the nose is very good. third update: i've now had five of theses masks. my only criticism of them is that the filters are non-replaceable. otherwise, they're good quality, comfortable and seal well - and keep out dust.

I look a bit like Darth Vadar and scare the kids , but who cares this does the job. Wearing glasses I find that a lot of masks steam them up due to exhaled breath escaping upwards onto the lenses. A nuisance and often dangerous as many tasks require good clear vision. The exhale , one way escape valve solves this very real problem. I have now used it for several tasks generating dust and microbes e.g. sanding plasterwork and strimming grass. The 3M mask protected my nose and mouth preventing anything entering my breathing system. As an acute Hay Fever sufferer many garden tasks were a problem inducing streaming eyes, streaming nose and persistent cough. Since getting the mask I have cut and strimmed grass, power cut a hedge and so far no symptoms . After a few adjustments it fastened securely with 2 straps ; the rubber seal is snug , but not painful , it does not constrict breathing and most of all it filters all the bad stuff. Can't believe the low cost for such a quality protection. PS having used it for a few weeks the elastic bindings constantly slip from the buckles so have had to tie knots to secure them. Not a big problem more a nuisance

Bought to use with oxalic acid vaporisation treatment of bee hives. Whether I didn’t have the straps tight enough I’m not sure but gas got in which was very unpleasant. Having said that, I think it’s a pretty good mask though. The filter is not replaceable and so the mask must be thrown away after a month if used frequently. There is a lot of (confusing) info regarding which filter is needed for a particular level of protection. Take the time to ensure that the mask is fitting really well before using!

This mask is so much better than a B&Q mask of equivalent level of protection I'd been using. The B&Q mask had two cylindrical filters either side of the nose, was heavier, and had pretty uncomfortable straps which always slipped, required strong tightening (resulting in pretty bad pressure marks on the face and head) and was just always a fiddle to ensure a good fit - especially because the straps always got twisted up. This mask is so light, required only one initial adjustment, and due to its soft rubber and large seal area provides a very secure fit without causing much of a pressure mark at all. The 'exhaust' is directed away from the face resulting in no vapour reaching your goggles. I sanded a very dusty whitewashed ceiling with it, and there was not a trace of smell or dust inside the mask. Very recommended - this is what all safety products should be like - working well without compromising on comfort. Nothing deters you from wearing it and staying safe.

Was very confused and unsure which mask to order as there are plenty of options available on Amazon (which is a good thing!). I needed a mask I can wear comfortably whilst sanding different projects (mainly wood based). I opted for a 3m mask as other 3M products I've used in the past have always been good quality and up to the task I've needed them for. This mask did not disappoint, its very well customisable to ensure a smug fit, and suprisingly comfortable whilst in use. I suffer with asthma and was very suprised to find I could breathe very easily with this mask on, whilst having a smug and tight fit to maintain protection. I was also dubious as this mask does not have replaceable filters - once used up (in other words breathing is degraded or no longer easy to breathe through) you simply dispose of thr mask and order a new one. Having used the mask, I can see this lasting a whole and I recommend it to others. Hope this helps, will amend this review once I've had chance to use the mask more often/regularly.

This mask is excellent. I would definitely recommend. I bought this as I'm stripping old lathe and plaster from our old attic. Basically a lot of this black dust filling the room but not my lungs with this mask. I also bought a pack overspray guards to go with it to prolong the life of the mask. The mask is a rubber material folded round the edges with an adjustable clipped strap at the bottom and a strap at the top with a plastic head shape holder that sits on the crown of your head which makes it reasonably comfortable. I've been using it for over a week now wearing it solidly for a few hours at a time with no problem. One useful tip I've learned is moisture builds up inside and sits in the fold and can roll around inside the mask. I rolled up a couple of sheets of toilet paper/kitchen roll and stuck it in the bottom fold and that solved the issue for me. I can see this mask lasting awhile even though its meant to be disposable. I think if you keep clean it regularly it will last for a good few jobs.

Ich benutze die Maske seit weit über einem Jahr mehrere Stunden täglich. Komplett geruchsneutralisierend und staubundurchlässig, was meine wichtigsten und einzigen Kriterien waren. Nicht nur durch die Filter, sondern auch an den Rändern. Selbst nach 2 Stunden wird die Maske nicht unbequem, es sammelt sich allerdings bereits nach ~30min Kondenswasser in der Maske. Die Anpassen und Einstellen geht sehr fix von der Hand und ist narrensicher. Auch kann man hier sehr einfach mit neuen Gummibändern nachrüsten, die werden durch Staub und Schweiß nach einigen Monaten nicht gerade schöner. Ich hab allerdings immer noch die Original-Maske mit den ersten Filtern. Immer noch nicht zugedreckt oder gar verstopft und das seit ca. 18 Monaten. Ob sich die Maske für's Lackieren, Arbeiten mit giftigen Dämpfen oder für den Fall dass die Russen kommen eignet kann ich nicht sagen, ich benutze sie nur zum Staubschutz. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Die "Gummilappen" welche von innen den Ausgang durch die Filter blockieren wölben sich nach einiger Zeit nach innen. Das lässt nicht nur Luft durch die Filter nach draußen sondern kitzelt auch noch schrecklich im Gesicht, wenn es z.B. die Lippen berührt. Lässt sich durch herausnehmen und umdrehen beseitigen.

Facile da utilizzare o ottima protezione.

Contento con la compra. La he probado 8 horas, en un espacio cerrado con soldadura de electrodos y con la maquina de disco de metal (radial). Durante todo el tiempo que la llevé puesta no sentí el olor a humo de ninguna de ellas. También la he probado utilizando acetona para limpiar y con sprays de pintura y, tampoco sentirás el olor de ningún químico. La ventaja que tiene esta máscara es que se acopla desde 4 puntos; 2 superiores y 2 inferiores. Los de abajo llevan un enganche rápido, lo que permite liberar la máscara de manera muy fácil sin hacer mucho esfuerzo. Si no te la quieres quitar del todo cuando necesites hablar, deja sujeto el enganche de abajo que bordea detrás de el cuello; y el de arriba lo desplazas hacia delante, la mascará basculará hacia adelante y se quedará colgada del cuello como un colgante. Una recomendación: antes de usarla, yo, le limpio el interior y los bordes que van a estar en contacto con la cara con unas toallitas para bebé. Respiration correct , sans étouffement , étanche, Je l'utilise pour du tronçonnage métal, limage, ponçage, indispensable si vous souhaitez que vos poumons ne soient pas agressés. Test simple poncer un peu, sans masque , mouchez vous , ensuite mettez le masque et remouchez vous vous, nota les poils de nez ne filtre que les plus grosses (énorme) particules imaginez ce qui va dans vos poumons. Et pas facile de faire un ramonage :). Sérieusement mettez un masque, de plus celui ci n'est pas trop désagréable à porter. Nota 1: Un masque n'est jamais agréable mais toujours indispensable. Nota 2:: je ne connais et ne pourrait certifier sa réel efficacité mais pour ce genre de produit je n'ai pas le choix que de faire confiance aux descriptifs indiqués et 3M n'est pas une obscure société chinoise. Nota 3: il n'existe pas de masque de filtration respiratoire universelle. Nota 4: Vérifier en fonction de votre usage s' il protège les produits que vous allez utilisez (chimique, solvant...), Pas simple je sais, car pour ce masque par exemple, des recherches sur l'indice indiquées ne retourne que des infoi 3M a croire qu'il n'y que 3M ou plutôt que l'indice de protection indiqué est interne a 3M,

Aun no la he probado trabajando, pero la impresión inicial es muy buena, muy ajustable, no molesta en la cara, acopla de manera estanca, y el agarre elástico al cuello, o a la cabeza, ajusta sea cual sea tu talla. Sé que no voy a tener recambio de filtros, pero por su precio, teniendo en cuenta que es la herramienta que te salva los pulmones (la vida), cuándo tenga que cambiar estoy seguro que buscaré la misma.
