XOLORspace 23031 3x1 HDMI Switcher 4K 60HZ HDR with remote control, auto switch supports Sky Q, PS 4 PRO, XBox One S, 4k 60HZ 4:4:4 8 bit

My 4K tv only has a couple of HDMI 2 ports and I need at least three. I need them for ps4 pro, bluray and 4K PC gaming. I'm not terribly keen on hot swapping HDMI cables as they can carry a small amount of voltage that can damage equipment.Iv been looking unsuccessfully for a switcher that retains the HDR stream. Until a few days ago I'd not found one that met my requirements. Then I came across this little wonder.It's cheap, small, discreet and it works. Don't be put off by the name if you don't know it. This box is excellent and so simple to use. It's literally plug and play. That's all you do. The small remote is a nice bonus.I can't recommend this box highly enough.In a nutshell this box converts one HDMI 2 port into three and it retains the HDR stream. I tested it with a few items.I just wanted to update my review. I have changed my tv since the original review. This box started to malfunction after a few weeks. I stopped working properly with my ps4 pro. The picture keeps going on and off with a massive amount of on screen static. Games are now unplayable due to this fault. I have changed tv and HDMI leads and still the fault persists.I should contacted the seller for a refund or replacement but poor health precluded this as I just couldn't face the hassle.I am now left with a useless purchase.I'd advise caution before buying this item.

Having looked around at a lot of HDMI switches that supposedly support the full output resolution, refresh rate and colour channels of the PS4 Pro and Apple TV 4K this one actually works! Both work perfectly at 4K 60Hz in 4:2:0 (and 4:2:2 for the Apple TV).The only downside is that the auto switching between inputs is temperamental. It does have a remote for this too but who needs another remote. I just wanted to tuck it behind the TV and forget it existed.It also needs to be powered so make sure you have a spare socket.

I don't usually write many reviews, but this is one of those products I felt needed a review and some clarity for those thinking of purchasing it.I've struggled with finding the right HDMI switch going through so many on Amazon. Most of them claim '4k Support' but in reality they only support 4K at 30hz and no HDR (basically the HDMI 1.4 standard). It's really misleading.This is the only HDMI Switch I've come across (this 3 port and the 5 port version) at time of writing which actually supports 4K at the full 60hz as well as HDR and HDCP2.2.My use case is I have a Samsung 4K 65-inch HDR TV, but for some odd reason only a single port can do HDR (or as Samsung calls it UHD Color).I have both an Xbox One S and an Nvidia Shield TV both capable of HDR and 4K so I had a bit of a port issue.I bought this and the Amazon Basic HDMI2 Cables and connected everything up and I can confirm it all works perfectly and I now have both devices connected and working in glorious 4K 60Hz with HDR 10-bit working.I can confirm everything works as expected, I've tried Netflix, Amazon Video on both devices and UHD Blu-Rays on the Xbox One S (the later I was worried about due to the strong encryption requirements) and I can confirm they all work as expected.I also saw someone ask in the questions on if this works with the Logitech Harmony Remote. I can confirm that while this product isnt in the pre-made database (at time of writing), it can be programmed in manually which takes about 5 minutes with the existing remote and then works flawlessly. I've got it added to my Activities so when the Xbox Comes on, TV Goes to HDMI1, HDMI Switch turns on and switches to HDMI1 etc etc - making the whole process totally seamless and allowing me to disregard the remote included.Build quality of the switch is quite nice, It's metal and doesn't feel cheap. Though I found on mine the IR Receiver was pushed in a bit - though I resolved it by using a small screwdriver and pulling it back out. I would have considered lowering the review for this; but I think the fact this is such a great working HDMI Switch that I'll let that one go :)Over all, fantastic product. Is a bit pricey compared to the others but the reason is simple, it's the only one with the bandwidth and chipset capable of that glorious HDR at 4K/60Hz.If you are looking to buy a switch, even if you don't yet have 4K Devices; I'd seriously recommend this one as at least it has a long life ahead of it by actually supporting the latest standards.

+ the pass through seemed to work fine. Had my Sky Q and PS4 going through and it seemed to carry the 4K and surround sound well.+ small, compact little box with a solid feel.- if I left Sky on when going to bed and just turned the TV off, in the morning there would be no signal coming from the switch (after waking the TV and Sky Q box up of course). Disconnecting and reconnecting the HDMI lead would then allow the signal through the switch. For this reason I returned mine.- it was also shipped with the wrong power plug which caused a week's delay in sending the correct one. Yes, it says this in the description if you look very carefully but it's still annoying.- remote is very ugly and cheap

Does not work with harmony hub will switch Samsung smart tv off it won’t turn on don’t waste your money on this product this is my third different hdmi splitter I bought on amazon they don’t work with harmony hub the build quality on this hdmi splitter is good it’s a shame it does not work with harmony hub

Absolutely amazing HDMI Switcher, after my first one bought off of amazon had electrical issues and the picture kept flashing I had to look around and others on dedicated sites recommended if you weren't willing to shell out for an AVR needless to say the product feels premium coming in a metal enclosure and having used it for some time now it has worked flawlessly without a single issue I have also found that the automatic switching is far better than most other products I've used which would switch constantly between sources despite not being used.Overall I would highly recommend this item especially if you are looking for a HDMI Switch for games consoles with mine having a Xbox One X, Playstation 4 Pro & a Nintendo Switch all hooked up running through to an Acer predator 1440P monitor
