Lego Marvel Super Heroes (PS4)

First let me start by saying I have not actually played it myself so I cannot really comment on gameplay etc.However, I got this for my little brother (11) for Christmas, who absolutely loved it. The fact that it is a 2-player game made it easier to make my decision as well, and the fact that my boyfriend spent the rest of Christmas in front of the ps4 with my brother playing this game shows that it was entertaining, fun and very "playable" in the sense that it was challenging enough but not too hard.I asked my brother what he specifically liked about the game and he said the fact that you can change characters, and that you need specific characters for certain parts of the game was fun, and that it was lots of things to do and explore. My boyfriend said that it was a fun game, although he would perhaps not buy it for himself, but it was a lot of fun to play with someone younger, and that they had managed to include a lot of interesting characters that he recognised from comics etc.All in all, I would say that this is a very good game for perhaps a bit of a younger audience (although no judgment here if you're 40 and love Lego and Marvel!), but that it can be a lot of fun as a family activity. Very happy with the purchase!

In one word, this adventure is truly spectacular. The game is all the best we've seen from Lego games over the years, it's got a wonderful character roster like Star Wars, a solid original story that is well voice acted and a brilliant and interesting hub like Batman.The character roster is one of the best things that this game has, as it is huge and comprehensive, containing A-list favorites like Captain America and Spider-Man, as well as ones only marvel fans will recognise, like Wizard and Taskmaster. The great thing about the characters is the obvious care put into them, from the way some characters fly to how they fight enemies.The gameplay is fairly standard with regular well-designed levels and often easy puzzles, though there is still plenty of fun to be had in the main levels as well as the extensive hub.On the PS4 the graphics are very pretty in levels and character design even if it's not mindblowing.In conclusion, the game is heaps of fun and beautifully charming, the best of Lego games and Marvel that we've seen in a long while.

Really fun game with a ton of playable characters even without DLC which is impressive in this day and age. Where most games give you a basic experience and charge you an arm and a leg for all the extra content this game gives you nearly 100 characters from the start to unlock just like back in the ps2 days and lots of cheats to unlock. It's fun to play and unlock too. Not tedious at all which is refreshing as some games can take 100s of hours to unlock basic stuff in order to try to charge you for an unlock all pack. This seems to be a norm for all the LEGO games and its why I just keep buying them all. So if you love the lego games and like or love comics then this is for you.. Firstly, I'd definitely say that this is a lot of game for your money. By the time you've worked your way through the campaign (twice, if you want to "100% the game") and done all the side missions/activities/races etc, you will have put in a lot of hours. At the time of writing, I think I've accumulated about 15hrs play time and there's still loads left in the game to do.It's also a lot of fun. I think some people are put off games like this because they are seen as "for kids". Well, they may be good for kids, but they're a lot of fun for adults too. Call me a 31 year-old child if you like! There funny dialogue and animations throughout the game (some of which are clearly meant to amuse adults more than they would a child just through references that children may not be familiar with).The game isn't quite perfect. You will encounter the odd glitchy moment, and most of the puzzles aren't exactly difficult to figure out (usually it's just a case of knowing which character you need to use and the rest becomes fairly obvious). Don't let that stop you getting the game though. It was £31 when I bought it, and I consider that a bargain considering how many fun hours of gaming you'll get out of it.

Thought I'd get this game as it was really cheap from Amazon and only had NFS for my PS4 and would be useful for friends kids to play. When it came, installed it and thought I'd give it a quick go? quick??? 5 hours later I was still playing it!!! This is not just for kids. Gameplay is brill and funny and the cut scenes are even funnier and some of the free play levels you really have to think if you want those MiniKits or Gold Bricks/DeadPool Bricks. Seeing the hulk dance at the after party is worth completing the game mode in itself,but the real fun does begin in free play mode.I borrowed the PS3 version and there is a big difference but you have to have it set up at 1080p not 720p or auto to get awesome graphics. Also helps to choose the correct TV screen size in video output settings on PS4 (only available on 3DTV's I think).
