Got this as a real treat for myself, beautiful looking, and very heavy and thick. Feels like quality.Was pricey, but i think worth it.I would say it probs needs oiling semi regularly, I haven't done mine yet and the colour has faded a little on top

I purchased the end grain chopping board because it looked solid and was just the right size. I’m not disappointed with it! it feels good quality and the stunning pattern was exactly what I wanted. I’ve ordered some food grade mineral oil and treatment wax, to keep it in good condition and enhance the look. It hasn’t been treated yet, so I’m going to wait to use it after that. I anticipate that with the proper care, this is an item that feels built to last. It’s finished beautifully and doesn’t have any of the defects that a few other reviews mentioned, so I’m a happy customer so far.

Very misleading photos as actual board that arrived was different. Handles are cut out of the surface so can’t be used properly as chopping/serving board on one side. Very disappointing, will need to return.

The back of it isn't a perfect rectangle. Unlike the photos, It has cutouts on the back for the handles on the side so you can't use it as a cheeseboard. Also the finish/sanding is quite rough.

Considering how much I paid for this I expected a better product. The main complaint is the aggressive 'finish' on all the edges except the final edge of the board. I'm not sure my pictures do it justice but it honestly feels cheap. Personally I think a slightly rounded edge would look and feel much better.Also, a fairly minor complaint, the lines of the wood sections do not align with the edges of the board. My inner OCD does not appreciate that.UPDATE: I was contacted by the seller and offered a 50% refund for the product. They were very understanding so overall a more positive experience.
