I purchased this webcam for my elderly parents and they were able to set it up with ease. The picture quality is excellent and the mount makes it easy to sit on top of any monitor. The microphone isn't perfect and is quite sensitive which is somewhat expected of a webcam and I'd suggest purchasing a separate mic if you're planning on streaming. Its suitable for WhatsApp and Teams calls though.

Very happy with this item. Very good quality picture and, I am told, sound. Very east to set up (just plug into the USB) and appropriate sized packaging. Thankfully it arrived very quickly too. Good value ; quality product.

The picture quality it delivers is good. One problem I had was it was losing the focus during teams meetings and had to turn it off and then back on. To be fair, I am not sure this a camera issue or Windows. Point being other cameras I had did not suffer from it. Solution is to set the focus and disalbe the auto / dynamic mode. Overall decent product, but you can get cameras of similar quality for less.

Superb, reliable Webcam with a good microphone. Works with a USB extension lead if you need it to.

Middle-grade quality for low-end prices. The camera quality is a bit grainy at times, but honestly, it's perfectly good for simple video-recording. I use it occasionally to stream, but I mainly use it as a microphone whilst I do not have space for my Studio-Microphone. The holder is great and stops the camera from slipping when placed on top of my monitor, and is generally very adjustable even when not on the top of the computer. The swivel being sperate from the base-plate makes this a really good product that can work at multiple angles. The camera has a soft blue light around the edges of the camera port. This can sometimes make the camera bad in the dark, and makes the quality a bit grainier at times, but when there is substantial lighting, it works great. Connection is a bit spotty, I've found. Despite being plugged in, sometimes the camera just simply won't work, even though the microphone portion of it works. Only solutions I have found are to turn the computer on/off, plug/unplug the camera, or just wait for it to sort itself out. Overall, really good product, very good price, and a great starter web-cam.

Excellent product

I'm getting to that age where things easily frustrate me, especially tech. Not this. I unboxed it, plugged it into a spare usb port, sat it on top of my monitor, turned my laptop on and it instantly worked. No confusing set up or software to install. Picture quality is good, it occasionally struggles to refocus if I move out of view and then come back but that's easy to resolve.

📸 Video Quality This webcam really delivers when it comes to video - 1080p at 30fps is more than enough for video calls, streaming, or recording. The image is sharp, colours are accurate, and the autofocus holds up well in most lighting conditions. It’s been a dependable performer for me. 🎙️ Audio Audio quality is decent - voices come through clearly, and it does a respectable job distinguishing individual voices. That said, it still picks up background noise and will catch other people talking if you’re not alone in the room. For casual use, it’s fine, but if audio matters a lot, you might still want a separate mic. 🔒 Privacy & Indicator Light One downside is the lack of a built-in privacy cover - I had to purchase one separately (shown in the pics). The blue lights that glow on either side when it’s in use are a nice touch though, and give a clear visual cue that the camera is active. 🧲 Mounting Mounting is flexible - it fits well on most monitors and also includes a standard tripod thread. The mount is sturdy and holds its position vertically well. Unfortunately, there’s no horizontal rotation, which might be a limitation depending on your setup. 💸 Price vs. Value At full retail price, I’d say this webcam doesn’t quite justify the cost in 2025 - there are newer models out there with better features.
