This design is great for professional trainers/presenters who want a unit that has a good solid feel to it. Fits in the hand easily. Easy to use, hold and manipulate in one hand without worrying about moving on a slide by accident. It has a strong laser for highlighting points (unlike some where the laser is so weak you might as well not use it). In my opinion this is worth the extra few quid for the quality and solid feel alone

I felt compelled to write this, my first Amazon review, given that this product really does deliver on its simple aims. As other reviewers have noted, it is ergonomic and comfortable to hold, intuitive and straightforward to use, and above all simply works allowing you to focus on delivering the message of your presentation rather than the presentation itself. It implements the common USB Human Interface Device (HID) standard and hence is widely supported on most, if not all, platforms without the installation of specific drivers hence is ideal for use on company PCs whose security policy may not allow the installation of non-sanctioned 3rd party software. It works by emulating the key presses of Page Down, Page Up and B for next, previous and blank/black respectively. Perhaps less obvious is that the laser pointer button also sends an F5 key press - this is used by Powerpoint to start a presentation if still in design mode. All-in-all, if your application can be driven by these keys it can be driven by this. A useful feature not mentioned elsewhere is that the USB wireless receiver contains a discreet LED which illuminates green in response to each key press. This positive feedback confirms the working range and that the batteries are healthy. If the batteries are on their way out the LED instead illuminates red. This completely eliminates any 'I hope the batteries are going to be okay' concerns you might have prior to delivering that keynote presentation! Speaking of batteries, when you put the receiver dongle back inside the handset it automatically disconnects the power so that you can't flatten the batteries through inadvertent key presses when inside your bag. Incidentally, I note that there appears to be a version of this device without a laser pointer so make sure you're buying the right one as they look similar! All in all a high quality product - if you're looking for a decent straightforward presenter with laser pointer stop now - you've found it.

I really like this wireless usb clicker. It works well. It has worked in every device it has gone into. Plug and play. Really simple. The positives are the simple buttons- very intuitive, back, forwards etc. The usb dongle bit can be tucked inside so you don't lose it. There are a couple of niggles: It's easy to leave in the 'on' position, which I think drains the battery and it's not easy to play a video inside a presentation. But apart from that, all good.

This is a nifty and clever little device. It’s simple and comfortable to use. I ordered this one because it appeared identical to one that I’d borrowed from a colleague and I wanted one of my own. The design of this one is different in one respect, though - the piece you plug into the computer is no longer attachable to a keyring. Instead, once you remove it from the lid of the device, it’s completely loose. And you can imagine how easy to lose it will be. What a short-sighted change of design! At least when it’s attached to something essential like keys, you’re less likely to leave it behind or drop it into a pocket and forget about it. For this reason, I’ve given 4 stars rather than 5.

These use to be expensive items but are now cheap enough to buy your own. The advantage is you can then use it on any system, confident you will press the right button at the right time. It also helps when practicing presentations on your own computer/ laptop (which I do a lot). It's simple to use and the receiver plugs into any USB port, firing up without any problems. The receiver bit also slots away into the end of the pointer for safe, neat storage and it also seems to turn the pointer off, avoiding the risk of running the battery down when not in use. It does'nt come with any instructions, but in reality these are not needed. Controls are basic and simple. The laser pointer is the top button, which feels intuitive to me. Forward, back and the bottom button to blank the screen untill you start, all I ever need for Power point presentations. I have also used this successfully for photo shows and it works just as well mirroring the forward and back buttons on my laptop. I like it - great little gadget, well worth the money, everybody should have one.

I bought the remote, not actually needing it for a week or two, with next day delivery. I've seen the remotes in action, and have used one in the past and I was terribly eager to get my hands on one... The first thing I did (after tearing through the packaging like a kid on Christmas morning) was plug it in and open up an old presentation. My lord! I sat there for hours going back and forth, using the blackout function (the screen fades to black at the touch of a button, incredibly helpful if you need to move on to something else for a while, or there is a break). The design is perfect, the way the usb receiver fits into the remote and turns off the power, and so elegantly retracts back out aswell. I bought this especially for an AGM which I am chairing, and I refuse to return to the lecturn for every click when I am on a massive stage. For those who want to give really good presentations, and want to move around more and interact more with the audience, this is great. You are never tied down to returning or standing by the laptop/computer just to carry on. The lazer is also brilliant for pointing out things in pictures or videos (yet another way to keep the audience amused). I always buy products from Amazon according to what others say in their reviews, and to anyone reading this and thinking about buying it. Then all I can say is don't hesitate one more moment.

Ottima transazione: ordinato sabato 06/12, mi è stato consegnato il giorno 09/12, nonostante la festività nel mezzo. Utilizzato con SO Mavericks, è stato subito riconosciuto dal macbook senza problemi come tastiera esterna (per avviarlo basta tenere premuto uno dei tre pulsanti funzione e, nonostante il computer dica di non aver riconosciuto la tastiera esterna, il telecomando funziona alla perfezione). Tre funzioni: puntatore laser, avanzamento slide, schermo nero. Bella sensazione al tatto, e molto leggero. Se non cercate anche un air mouse, lo consiglio vivamente. ottimo rapporto qualità- prezzo.

Compré un presentador igual hace 8 años. He estado trabajando con él todo este periodo y, tan efectivo, es en el gasto de pilas que apenas las he cambiado en todo este tiempo a pesar de que imparto unas 240 horas de clases al cabo del año. Recientemente un compañero me ha pedido consejo sobre este presentador, le informé de sus bondades en el sistema operativo de Microsoft. Él es un fanático de Apple y he comprado otro para regalárselo. Está encantado!!!

Fazit: Der Presenter hat alle meine Erwartungen erfüllt. Er bringt alle wichtigen Funktionen mit, arbeitet (seit einem Jahr) absolut zuverlässig und ist klein und unauffällig. Vorteile in Kürze: + klein (10x4.5cm), leicht (ca. 85g), unauffällig + Sehr gute Reichweite (geschätzte sichere 10m, je nach Raum auch bis zu 20m) + Absolut zuverlässige Signalübertragung + Austauschbare AAA-Akkus nutzbar + Alle wichtigen Funktionen + Leuchtstarker Laiserpointer + USB-Stecker ist im Gerät versenkt (dieses ist dann deaktiviert) Der kleine (10x4.5cm) und leichte Presenter liegt gut in der Hand. Er ist unauffällig (schwarz) und bietet alle wichtigen Funktionen. Die Reichweite ist sehr gut (geschätzt sichere 10m) und funktioniert auch bei störenden elektr. Geräten. Es kam bei mir mit diesem Gerät noch nie zu Aussetzern oder "Foliensprüngen". Zum Betrieb sind zwei AAA-Batterien/-Akkus zu verwenden, welche lange zu halten scheinen (nicht systematisch gemessen). Im beruflichen Kontext habe ich aber sowieso immer Ersatzakkus dabei. Der Presenter hat die nötigen Funktionen wie Folien vor/zurück, Folien starten, Bildschirm schwarz, Laserpointer (rot, starke Leuchtkraft) - wobei die "Folien starten" Funktion auf der Taste des Laserpointers liegt. Der USB-Stecker schaut ca. 3.5cm aus der USB-Buchse heraus und ist kaum breiter/höher als diese (also keine Probleme bei dicht beieinander liegenden USB-Buchsen).
