Cuts paving slabs cleanly and effortlessly
Bought the Evolution Power Tools 185mm Diamond Blade specifically for cutting paving slabs, and it did the job perfectly. Cuts cleanly and efficiently without struggling, and feels robust and well-made. Exactly what you want from a diamond blade — no drama, just straight, reliable cuts. One important note: it creates a fair bit of dust, so definitely wear a proper dust mask and goggles. Sensible precautions, but worth mentioning. Great blade, great performance, and good value. Would happily use again.

Cut Paving Slabs well.
Needed to cut 40 foot of 1.5 inch thick paving slab. Did the job well with lots of life still left in the blade.

Pretty good
This is a pretty good diamond blade. I have used this dry for cutting ceramic tiles on an Evolution R255SMS-DB+ 255mm. It performs well although there is minor chipping around the cut evident. To be fair becuase this needs to be used dry that is no really surprise and to get a better cut you'd need to use a wet wheel cutter.

Hi people. Update Oops i made a Boo Boo as i thought i was doing a review for the blade that fits my circular saw as i bought the diamond blade for my Mitre saw also i dont suppose it makes a difference lol So please think of this as a review for the Evolution Circular Saw but im sure it would be same for the Compound Mitre saw also. I bought this diamond blade for my Evolution Circular S Evolution 041-0002A Rage-B Multipurpose Circular Saw, 185 mm, 230 V aw as i needed to cut some marble tile slabs for my new wetroom bathroom. There is not much you can say about a cutting disc really yet this one worked perfectly. I made fast cuts without much pressure and left smooth edges and the blade doesn't look worn after cutting so much marble so i would definitely recommend this to anyone who needs to cut any stone or marble products as it is definitely up for the task and will do as it is intended for without any problems. Hope this review helps. Cheers JJ

Cuts even hard brick weave fairly easy
Seems like a decent blade for the money. Used it with my Evolution circular saw to cut and shape some hard brick-weaving bricks for our garden and driveway. Obviously made a right mess, but that's to be expected. Cut through the bricks fairly easily and cleanly. The Evolution saws are geared down for lower RPMs and higher torque than other circular saws, with all metal drive gears, which probably makes them handle this kind of cutting a little better than other budget saws aimed mostly at wood cutting. The blade looks like it still has plenty of life left in it. The only issue I could see is that all the painted on markings on the blade were worn off almost instantly in first use, including the rotational direction marker, so make sure to note down or remember how the blade is supposed to be fitted before using.

Did my job

Ok but not for very hard bricks.
Cuts easily garden interleaving bricks (on top on the picture) but dulled and started to throw sparks (bad sign) after only 3 hard refractory bricks (the bottom one the picture). I guess I'll have to rent a wet saw
