I just had my kitchen and bathroom cabinets and countertops remodeled, and I have several places where the cabinets are hitting the adjacent area and causing damage to themselves without this in place. It's not the most glamorous solution, but I don't really notice the little bits any more. I cut this up and put small "bumpers" in areas where the cabinet handles would smack into wood on the opened side, and also on the overhead vent that was getting hit by the corner cabinet door when it was opened all the way. It is clear-ish silicon, so I expect it to be able to stand the heat from cooking for quite some time. Hopefully the adhesive will keep it stuck where I put it and not melt if I get over-enthusiastic with the burners going.It has worked like a charm, and I don't wince when I open my cabinets and hear the staccato "bang" of metal hitting wood. Now I hear a muffled "thump" and know that I won't be denting or scratching up my cabinets. I also used it in my master bath where one cabinet is next to an adjacent entry door for the toilet area. It will probably get noticed pretty easily by someone coming in and looking around, but I prefer functional over "super-pretty". It thick enough to provide a good cushion, which is what I wanted.It's easy to cut and the adhesive seems to be pretty good, too. I haven't had any problems with the bits I've stuck up falling off. I'll test later if I have a problem getting them back OFF again from the wood after they've been adhered for a while. Hopefully not.

Good concept but does not stick well.

I found that we were marring up our new cabinet that holds the garbage bins and the bottom of the cabinet for our small kitchen appliances with the constant removing and replacing of them. They can be tricky to apply but once on they work wonderfully and I am very happy with the results. They essentially disappear and do not affect the doors/drawers from functioning. Easy to wipe off. I have not had any reason to remove them yet so I can't speak of how that works out.

I did not try to take it off, but putting it was super simple, in spite of the unevenness of the wall (old style uneven paint / wallpaper) and the fact that the corner was round with a rather large diameter.Silicon is not totally transparent, so still visible, but not ugly, and prevents my refrigerator door from banging and getting scratched.

I bought this vs other styles as I wanted the cushion to be concentrated on the corners. Our island swivel chair corners we’re hitting the counter of our island. The trickiest part was removing the adhesive cover tape. Tried peeling as I went and peeling except for a handle. Handle worked best. I very carefully lined it up before touching the chair corners. Go slowly then press out any remaining bubbles. Inconspicuous and 100% satisfied.

The sticker that you remove on this product is stuck/melted to the plastic. Very cheaply made. Good luck getting it off. Makes the product almost worthless.

Value for money

I used to use a big brown bumper pad on a glass table, then I found these and the product is much more discreet and polished looking. The only downside is that one unit of this stuff was just about half of what I needed for a coffee table. So ordering the right amount might be tricky

Too short for the price advertised. The adhesive is not strong, generally erodes over time. Had to reapply super-glue on multiple locations.

Sticks well to surface, I used this in my laundry room on my L shaped couter top to protect my stackable washer/dryer from been damaged against the quartz counter top. I also used small pieces in the kitchen area as a doorstop for the cabinets so when opened they are not bumping on the hard wall surface. This was the transparent look I was going for and easy to install. Hardly noticeable was on the surfaces.

The product arrived in a tightly wound roll. Straightened the roll out, let it reach room temperature. Had to cut off about 4” of material from end and discard as it was too tightly rolled up and the material was deformed and wouldn’t lay flat. Measured, cut and applied the protector. Adhered well other than the first couple of inches that were the inside of the roll. That corner kept rolling up. Had to trim the end off and now it’s laying flat. Now there’s an unprotected gap on the edge where the material was cut off. I think the problem could be avoided if it wasn’t rolled up so tightly but that would increase shipping costs for the supplier.
