The Eucharist: A Bible Study Guide for Catholics

What Eucharist means.
The book is interesting with Bible quotes however I would have liked anthropology finds backing the history of said events.

Illuminating and Enriching.
The breadth of a Jesuit intellect is always humbling, and Father Pacwa is a paradigm. The depth of his understanding of ancient languages, his knowledge of history, and his ability to weave all the strands of biblical passages together is always illuminating. His wisdom is only eclipsed by his empathy and humility. He renders complex ideas with the clarity and accessibility of a very skilled teacher. He is in Love with the Truth of the Lord, and his readers can't help but be infected with the same. If you've been pondering whether to get this study guide, ponder no more.

Excellent bible study for those who want to understand the meaning of our Christian Easter
I am not Roman Catholic. I am a long time (30+years) Episcopalian who started religious life as a Methodist. I completed 4 years of EFM (Education for Ministry) and therefore studied most of the old and new testament along with my churches theology. Like the Roman church, our church makes the Eucharist the center of our worship and long time Episcopalians need the sacrament frequently. I became "hooked" on church history. I enjoy watching Father Mitch's shows on EWTN. This is wonderful bible study for anyone who would like to understand the meaning of the Eucharist in trinitarian traditions. I read the book with my bible at my side. This book will make a great group study. Reading this study was a wonderful preparation for this Easter season.

OUTSTANDING ALSO AS A REFERENCE
This is outstanding. I will keep it handy as a reference. It helps me understand a bit more of the Old Testament. Thanks to Fr Mitch Pacwa. His teachings are so interesting. This goes with the EWTN Eucharist Series he teaches.

I enjoyed it.
I have a new understanding and appreciation for the Mass and Eucharist celebration that I never would have gotten without this book. This is a book that I will probably read a second time. Father Mitch Pacwa is a great writer and easy to read.
