Poor induction performance
This diffuser, because of its aluminum core, is much less ferromagnetic than iron or steel and therefore does not get hot enough on an induction plate to efficiently cook. I had it on s professional grade induction cooktop in max power, and was unable to boil water in a pot set on top of it. Furthermore, the description says stainless steel and only explains the aluminum part in the fine print. Just a flame diffuser. Not an induction plate.

Not so "stainless"
It works fine for the intended purpose, but discolored badly with just 1 use. Oh well, it's covered by a pot when I use it, and doesn't seem to effect the functionality. I was able to use a copper bottom pot on my induction cooktop.
