Totally Worth It! Performance and Aesthetic Appeal!
I just got these wooden acoustic panels and wow, what a difference they make! As soon as I put them up in my home studio, the annoying echo and reverb issues I had were gone. Installation: Super easy setup. Everything I needed came right in the box, and the instructions were straight to the point. I had them up on my walls in no time. Effectiveness: Seriously, these panels are game changers. I record a lot of voice stuff and it's never sounded clearer. They knock out all those unwanted noises and echoes, making everything sound super crisp. Looks: Plus, they look awesome. The natural wood is a nice touch and really ups the vibe of my studio. They're not just practical, they also make the space look more put together.

You get what you pay for!
Garbage; foam and laser-cut bamboo. Basically, you are supposed to use two-sided tape to hold everything together and then stick it to your wall. The directions in the box do not match their video at all. So you're paying $100 USD for a 12"x12" piece of foam and some bamboo probably costs $20 to make. Then here's some tape. Needless to say, got the first two up and then the bamboo started falling off. Once I got frustrated enough I said to hell with it and ripped them off the wall. Now I need to fix my wall and repaint and broke 2 of the 4 I ordered. All I can say is this is the cheapest piece of utter trash I have ever ordered. I could have saved $50 bucks and paid someone to kick me in the crotch for 30mins and have a similar experience. I should have just bit the bullet and bought something that was made by a company that gives a crap vs money-grubbing garbage dealers.

More decorative than sound treatment
I purchased these knowing that they will provide limited sound diffusion or absorption. I was looking more for some decorative highlights on my studio and am pairing these with some real sound absorbers. The pictures in the listing are misleading because they look much thicker and bigger than what these 11.5”x11.5” squares are. I chose to use a different higher quality double sided tape because the tape that comes with these panels is very thin and more like a foam tape. I also drilled two holes and used nails to attach them to the wall for easier removal instead of the adhesive. The packaging is good but they all have a slight bow in them. There is a recommendation by seller to let them sit 24 hours before assembling but I see no point in doing that because the panels are not compacted and don’t get any thicker in that time period. I was also disappointed that all of the edges are left unfinished instead of the black that I saw in other photos. There is a good and a bad side to the wood so make sure you look for chips and tear out from the routering. All of them did have a good side to them for the face side. Overall pretty good and add some nice decoration to the room. I will probably order a couple more sets to finish out the studio.

Some Assembly Required
I was surprised when I opened the box because I had to put all the panels together, which involved measuring the tape, cutting everything, lining up the panels (if they're off, you can't put them flush with each other), etc. While this is a profound pain, and something I haven't seen before, if you have a router you could use this as a template and make a bigger version or more of these. Is that a plus? Maybe. Nice for the DIY folks.

Bamboo Panels are fine. Acoustic Foam is worse than useless
The bamboo panels are constructed decently, and consistently. The "acoustic foam" however, was of 4 VASTLY different thicknesses, smelled of a chemical factory, was falling apart, and left a black sludgy mark on everything it came into contact with. There was no aspect of the foam panels which made them even slightly useful, let alone worth dealing with the smell and mess that they caused (they still smelled after airing them out overnight). In no way is this product worth what is being charged for it. Buy bamboo panels on etsy and get foam from your local hardware store

Look great, do a decent job of acoustic control, but….
Like several other reviewers have said, these are really nice for the money, but the wood trim keeps falling off of the foam. The double stick tape provided is very sticky, but not on foam. I didn’t want to take a chance with the adhesive on the foam for attaching to the wall, so I tried the double stick tape there too. Still didn’t work. I ended up using a single nail through an opening in the wood and foam, into the wall. Spec’s say they’re 12” square, whereas they’re actually 11.5” and the photos online have been produced to make them appear much larger than they really are. But overall I do like them as they look nice in my studio, with one on a side wall and three on the front between the monitors. I’ve got several different acoustic treatments on the other walls.
