I love it
Obviously this isn't going to have the comic book artwork. So you should know that going into this. As for me who likes to play this game with my wife who only knows Marvel through the movies it''s awesome! The pics are from the movies and that works for me and her. I think it also plays well with the base game which is also the movie version. If you are a stickler for the comic book art then pass on this. If you just want a nice expansion then I say go for it.

Love the MCU movie adaptation.
If you like comic book art DON'T GET THIS AND WRITE A BAD REVIEW!!I have the MCU 10th aniversary and I love the screen shots. I never got any of the comics growing up. So when I played my friend version with the comic book art I loved the game, but felt disconnected. I almost didn't get it until I found the versions that go with the movies.

The pictures stink, but get over it, it's still fun
Elephant in the room: Yes, the pictures suck compared to artwork. They suck compared to what one would expect from Disney's careful curation of the MCU. They are cruddy mid-90's level production pictures. The pictures are inexcusably bad, which is why I will admit that I waited until the cost came down alot before I bought it.BUTThis is actually a fun-as-heck set to play with some fun schemes; my favorite is Distract the Hero. The new coordinate mechanic is interesting, but not prevalent enough to really work. I enjoyed the new heroes, other than the allies which are a little weak. Vulture and the Salvagers are Great as Mastermind and villains . Danger Sense, another new rule, seems a little underused, while striker makes battles more fun. Overall I'd say these are great heroes and villains to throw into your mix, though maybe all as one they aren't as fun. Depending on your sets, this might give you enough to do all Spidey or all Iron Man teams (even facing off again Authoritarian Iron Man) for some dimension-bending fun. A fun addition, but if don't have many expansions, there are better ones out there.

Awesome Expansion
My husband and I (along with our friends) LOVE this expansion. The new schemes are unique, and the new keywords (striker & coordinate) are a lot of fun. We hope to see Upper Deck release more cards based on MCU movies in the future.
A**.
Needs more MCU expansions to work better.
Only thing that's worth sharing about this expansion is it uses movie assets which is going to stand out when used with the rest of the game. The variety of characters is also lacking for the same reason. This would get better reviews if Upper Deck decides to release more expansion big and small based on the MCU. (Which would sell! come on guys! Imagine big expansion based on Phases with smaller ones based on Runaways, Defenders, Agents of SHIELD, etc)

Good Stuff
My son loves this game and he loves Spider-man. So when we found that they had an expansion with even more Spider-man, this was going to happen. The cards are cool, the stills from the movie are well used. This is a good expansion.
