I've been wearing chest mounts for years and this one is by far the most comfortable and it appears to be well made out of quality materials. it came with 2 styles of go pro style mounts and a go pro style thumb screw.

This is a well-made unit. Probably overkill for all but the most physically demanding situations. The front mount is a proprietary system, so if you lose the connector you're out of luck. The back mount is the more conventional slide-in GoPro type but the kit came without a bolt, so you'll have to buy one separately or not use front and back at the same time. Since every GoPro camera comes with the slide-in mount, this kind of connection would be a better choice for future versions. I saw no way to order the custom connector for a spare. It would be a major project for the consumer to replace the base connector with something more widely available.

This is the first chest mount I've ever used so I can't say how well it compares to GoPro's own or other brands, but I can say it's been working out incredibly well for me! I got this to use with my GoPro Hero 10 and because the majority of the content I record is for IG and TikTok, having the ability to shoot vertically (or quickly switch between both) is a major win for me. The quick release design is much quicker and easier than GoPro's as you only have to put the circle part of the mount in and twist to lock. With GoPro's (newer design), you have to pop the rubber part up, slide the mount in, then close the rubber part back down over it. This mount/design holds the weight of my GoPro just as well as GoPro's own and I've yet to have any issues or fear of it coming loose or undone.The one thing I will say is DO NOT lose the quick release mount. While there is a 1/4" threaded hole in the bottom of it, it's the circle part of the mount that fits and locks into the chest plate. I have a bazillion different GoPro mounts and NONE will work with this chest plate if I ever misplace/lose this mount. To be safe, the second I'm done using the chest mount I disconnect my GoPro from the mount and snap it right back into the chest plate so that the 2 are always together.The chest strap itself is as comfortable as a harness can be LOL. As a female I prefer to wear a heavier shirt or jacket under it or turn it around and use on my back (another much appreciated feature, especially when my bf and I are out on his bike). The straps are stretchy and not super restricting or awkward. I like that you can adjust it to various different sizes so that multiple people/body shapes can wear the harness if need be. The price point is EXTREMELY reasonable for the quality of this mount and I'd highly recommend adding to your kit!

I have another off-brand chestie that I've been using for downhill mountain biking. Although it was fine, the quick release on this setup seemed intriguing so I gave it a go. I have to say, I really like the quality of this chestie better and do really like the quick release. It's way easier than the GoPro "quick release" option - the one where you have to squeeze and push through the mount.Overall, the fit and finish of this mount are much better than the other off-brand version that I have. The added pad behind the chest plate, the buckles, and the elastic straps are all of a much be quality; especially at this price point. Of course, there's the added bonus of the rear camera mount, but I have yet to give that a try.

This mount works with our GoPro 10 and allows for hands free recording. Nice accessory to have in your arsenal.
