This has been great for temporary holding but it’s not safe for very young kittens. My 4 week old kitten got her head stuck and we had to cut the bars. It’s great for older cats and kittens but not a full time place for kittens under 6 weeks.

I got this to use in my dorm room for my ESA, who is a small cat that weighed about 6lbs at the time. She had no difficulty popping the roof piece off and getting out through the corner of the crate. If you are getting it for an animal who is smaller and not as strong or nimble as a cat, I think it would work well! It was very sturdy when you weren't deliberately trying to escape it.

I’m completely shocked at how sturdy this is…my mother has a very old set of multicolor ones and they are wobbly and a complete mess…this stay in place once put together…I also purchase some thick zip ties to reinforce it with. I have a very active kitten and she swings and climbs from it…some of her toys hang from the top and she’s able to swing on them and play with no issues with the cage falling apart…the ladder is a bit annoying…it’s the only thing my Onyx manages to knock down. She’s able to jump and climb to the top but it came with a ladder…I’d like to be able ti use it..

i went somewhere for .5 seconds, come back and my cat was out of the cage. I didn’t use the zip ties however so i do take blame. other than that this product is pretty good. I just wish I got something bigger.

I loved this item for my new kittens my kittens in their playfulness were quick to break it I ended up having to take the top layer completely out because it kept collapsing while my kittens were on it. other than that its been fine.

The crate itself is super easy to assemble, however the pieces don’t lock well and come detached quite frequently. It comes with zip ties that I highly recommend using however, I wish it was as sturdy as the company advertised

Technically it’s easy to assemble but it falls apart in the process. My small cat was able to take it apart and escape in minutes
