good stuff
So I've tried a few of the animal based protein blends, and this one is my favorite. for me it just taste the best. but most importantly all the ingredients are good, no fake or weird stuff. but I was wondering why they put blood and bone in the mix. so I wrote the fittest and to my surprise they quickly worte back. here's what they said: As for the blood and bone... great question.Blood is one of the most potent sources of heme iron and peptides that support oxygen delivery, stamina, and endurance. It’s something our ancestors prized but modern diets totally left behind.Bone provides calcium, phosphorus, and other raw materials to keep your joints, bones, and connective tissue strong. It's a natural support for recovery and long-term performance. Both are rare to find in any supplement or protein powder... and that’s exactly why we included them.

Disgusting! Sweetener is overkill. Can't drink it.
This is a great concept, healthy primal nutrition ingredients. The problem lies in the 'natural flavoring' and low carb sweeteners. This is truly revolting due to the overuse of sweetener. I diluted 1 scoop with a quart of milk with cream and I still could barely drink it. Most people interested in a product like this are NOT sugar addicts and do not need so much sweetener. I don't think anyone could drink this it is so sweet. Very cloying in the mouth. I also had an allergic reaction to it that settled into an entire day of visits to the bathroom. Concept good, cut the sweetener down to a hint and ditch the 'natural flavor's and this could be a great product. Otherwise I am sorry to say it is truly gross, but not because of the organs.

Top-tier protein powder
First off, I am not probably not the ideal demographic to which this product is marketed (though it looks like the product page on Amazon has changed somewhat). I'm not a body-builder, I don't obsess about my gains, nor am I a dominant king of all animal life on Earth, and so forth. That being said, I appreciate the quality ingredients in this protein powder -- which is the main draw for me. I am boggled by plant-based food in general, so it's terrific to find a protein powder that is not only compromised of grassfed beef, but also includes some dessicated organ meat, butter, tallow, etc.I use this protein powder primarily to (modestly) supplement my breakfast with some additional calories and nice nutritional punch. It's a tasty complement to my coffee (particularly the chocolate version, which I have purchased multiple times). The most recent bag I receive tastes the same, but for whatever reason doesn't mix as well as it had in the past. So I'd advise using a blender, frother, immersion hand-mixer, or some similar implement to get it to dissolve/blend satisfactorily. In my opinion, the poor mixing (and concomitant clumping) is the only drawback to this product. It'd also be nice if it was cheaper -- but good things don't always come cheap.Numerous reviews complain about the taste of this beef protein powder, but from the first moment I tried this I thought it was delicious. I've only used a few protein powders besides this one, and I typically find them to taste quite generic or downright "artificial", if you get what I mean. To provide a bit of "context" to my palate, I enjoy some organ meat, especially heart -- but I'm not the biggest fan of liver's strong "minerally" flavor. If you're a proud meat-eater looking for a great protein powder, give The Whole Feast a shot. You can do like I did and wait for a flash sale, if you're on the fence about it. For my money, one would be hard-pressed to find a better quality product that tastes this good and isn't tainted by BS ingredients/fillers. Animal-based is the way to go!
