Since my new barn door doesn't meet the door jamb, but slides behind it I had to really search for a lock which would fit and this one is perfect! It looks nice and functions great!

The media could not be loaded.  In the process of rebuilding our deck, I knew I wanted to build a custom rolling gate instead of the traditional gate. I had no idea what type of latch I wanted to use, since the build allows to gate to sit pretty firmly in both the open and closed positions.We use this as our main access point to the house, so I wanted something simple. This latch was perfect for what I had in mind and bonus for the glow in the dark option.The latch seems to be great quality, and from what I can tell its going to hold up pretty well. I'll be sure to make an update after the latch sees some routine use, but overall I'm extremely glad that I took a chance on this.

Just doesn't work on barn doors. Impossible to install, and getting them to hook. If your door wobbles at all (most do), you can not get the perfect alignment needed to engage the lock. There is no way a disabled person or one with arthritis could ever lock it.

Perfect for my barn door that I just installed on my bathroom door. You can access my t from inside the room and inside the bathroom so it was perfect. I highly recommend it.
