This tape might work well in some situations where a pipe is out in the open with plenty of room to work on it. However in a real world situation where a pipe is in a wall with limited access it is impossible to wrap the tape around and around the pipe without cutting the tape into 12 or 15 inch strips. After trying twice and using up all the tape the leak continued. One good thing, it is easy to remove by cutting it with a sharp blade.

I'm a renter and this has saved me from the mercy of a landlords timeline. Works great if applied correctly. Do NOT apply to wet pipes and expect great results. The tape binds to itself and water interferes with that. This stuff can be difficult to apply if you're working in confined spaces because you end up folding it into itself and not being able to stretch it properly. All in all a great product that performs well on (very) hot water pipes as well as cold.

Really cool product. The tape is stretchy rubber that adheres to itself. You just wrap it around taunt and you have a nice seal. I can see using this in other applications beyond leak repair as well. Would be great for just attaching things together like you would use a cable tie. This is definitely a nice addition to my repair kit. Glad I bought it.

This tape worked wonderfully! I have a leak between joints under my kitchen sink and have tried many things including tightening the rings. This had worked! I won't have to call a plumber and pay his $125 an hour just to walk into my home. Thanks!
