Logan Dual Point Driver Elite and F54 Rigid Points Pack of 600

Excellent tool. Works great and makes my life easier. I have had a few jams but have since learned Logan recommends keeping a minimum of 1 inch of points in the tool. That seems to have eliminated the jamming.

This dual point driver is awesome!! It's well worth the price. I love using it, and I'm so very glad I ignored my husband's grousing about "blowing our budget" to get myself this tool. I'm so happy with how easy it is to use. The operator use directions are clearly written, and adjusting the pressure dial is simple. This makes my life as an artist oh so much easier! Can't say enough good things about this dual point driver by Logan. You won't regret buying yourself this fine tool.

Made my life a lot easier works great

This thing is a little powerhouse. Makes framing so quick and easy. It was much quieter than I was expecting. I thought it would sound similar to a staple gun, but it was only about half as loud. I thought the same for the "kick" and expected it to be much more like a staple gun, but it was very smooth and easy to use. I thought the slide where the points go in was jammed when it first ran out, but figured out you have to push in just a bit down near where the points come out and it slid back up easily then. It's nice and sturdy in the hand and doesn't feel cheap. Overall, very pleased with this purchase. It has already paid for itself!

I first purchased the Fletcher brand of point driver from Amazon for about $84. On both brands there is a knob in the rear that you turn to increase or decease the power of the driver depending on how hard the frame material is. At full power the Fletcher wouldn't driver the point into an inexpensive frame. I could easily wiggle it loose. The Fletcher was also made of mostly plastic. This Logan is mostly made of metal and feels quality built. It also drove the points into the same frame securely. The Logan has two different types of points; flexible (softer material) and hard points (for harder woods). I used the flexible and personally didn't see any reason to get the other type of points, but it's nice to have that option. The best thing is that the Logan costs less.

I'm a beginner woodwoker/DIY-er and was looking for something like this I could use for a picture frame I made. This is such a faster and more efficient way to secure artwork to the frames than finish or Brad nails. I was working on a softwood (pine) frame so I used the black colored flex points and they went in without a problem using the factory set depth. Haven't used the silver hardwood points yet but I'm sure they'll go in smoothly as these did. Great tool
