Deeply funky - a reduction of grapes, seeds, skins, and stems
Calling this an essence of raisin is close but not complete, as there is a decidedly funky flavor to saba. Liquid viscosity, not syrupy at all despite the powerful flavor punch.Pairs really well with a dash or two of balsamic or sherry vinegar…just add a bit of oil and it’s an astounding vinaigrette with deeper than usual flavor. Marinate or make a glaze for proteins or veggies, splash on fruit or ice cream as a dessert…lots of options for great flavor.

Good stuff
I've tried every Saba known to the internet. Some are $100 a bottle. Some are $40. This one is the best of them all by a long shot and it's the least expensive! Hits every part of your tongue and there isn't a Saba that quite relocates this one..it's sweet, tiny bit butter, savory, complex and great on ice cream and also steak. Others are often too sweet for steak, not this one

To add flavor and pizzazz to your meat, vegetable, and dessert dishes
It is delicious. We use it on top of asparagus, chicken, steak, anything that you desire. It makes the final presentation when you add it to your table. Your dinner guests will be intrigued and want some of their own! I have turned my family and friends onto this, I should be on their payroll. :)

Always in my pantry
As whole-food vegans, I don't use hardly any oil ... and that includes salad dressing. This is fantastic as a drizzle over salad, fresh tomatoes, steamed vegetables. It hits all the right flavor notes without the added calories and flavor-blunting of oil. A little goes a long way. I also use a splash in soups, sauces.

Super yummy
We bought this balsamic reduction sauce to try to mimic a delicious mushroom pizza at South Slope Winery. With this product we got pretty close to it in flavor. I just wish it were a bit less pricey.

Thank goodness!
Just love to try something new that is mentioned on TV on those cooking shows. Nice to know that these unusual items can be found on Amazon! Even living in a big city, it is such a hassle to drive around to find these things. The workers sometimes don't even know what you are talking about so it is so nice to find these unusual items on Amazon!
