Good Replacement
This replacement Unit works great. Our old attena did not allow us to bring in a radio signal anymore unless you were so close to the station. This unit has done a great job of giving us listening options while driving. Good value vs. getting from the dealer.

It Works
Replaced the antenna on my daughters 2015 Mini Cooper S R58 with this. Easy to install and provides decent reception.

No inside threads
Tried to screw the antenna onto the provided threaded adapter post for about a minute, thinking I was just not getting the angle right. Upon further inspection, the antenna base had never been tapped, rendering it completely useless.
