LCD Screen Replacement for iPhone 13 (A2482, A2631, A2634, A2635, A2633) 6.1 inch Touch Screen Display Digitizer Frame Assembly W/Repair Kit

I received a screen that appeared to be made well but atlas the UPS driver or whomever destroyed it before they could get it here sadly.

We have changed many iphone/ipad screens over the years so this is not new for us. The kit did not include any directions so we had to look them up. Once the new screen was installed the phone went black. Previously the phone was having issues with response to touch on the lower half. Now we can't even see the display on the phone as the entire thing is black. Do not recommend.

This screen is not terrible, but it does have a number of negatives.So let's start with the big one here - this screen doesn't include the depth of field sensor required for face ID to work. So, you can either pull the old sensor off your original screen, which will likely destroy it, or run without face ID.Moving on, the iPhone throws an error because it recognizes that this screen is not an Apple part. The error appears front and center at first, and after you dismiss the error, it hides itself on the main screen of the settings app, at the top with other alerts such as "face ID is disabled" or "your iPhone is out of storage"Next, the screen is a bit thicker than the original screen. I've attached a pic showing them side by side (original is on the right)The notch at the top is wider than the original. It's not a huge issue but the edge of the signal bars just barely misses the right edge of the notch, and the location indicator on the left just barely misses the left edge of the notch. I've attached a pic of this as well.Finally, I've noticed that the brightness is not a smooth progression. Most of the brightness change is on the bottom half of the slider with the new screen, followed by about a third of the slider as a dead zone with no change, followed by a tiny sliver where it reaches full brightness at the top.Of course, at $82, it's a lot cheaper than getting an officially sanctioned Apple screen replacement for $279. So for now I'm going to be running with a less-than-ideal screen replacement until the next iPhone comes out.

They basically made their iPhone 13 basils the same as the 12 and you can tell because it cuts off the display such as data bars

This kit was sufficient for my needs. It was my first time working on any phone let alone an iPhone. It has all the parts “technically” that you need, but the plastic wedges they provide to remove the screen are absolutely worthless. You’ll definitely need something thinner and more durable.The clarity is great. If you have an iPhone you’ll definitely have a permanent error message on your phone after you make the change because your phone recognizes that it’s not an Apple product. The biggest warning is, be ready to have your phone battery die ALOT faster! As soon as I installed mine, I found that I am having to charge my phone once a day at least and that’s with very minimal use.
