The best motorcycle earplugs money can buy
This is the second time buying these earplugs. First one's lasted a good 5 years of daily use before I figured it was time to get a new pair. They are still the best bang for your buck money can buy. Have tried several of the more expensive pairs and they are often uncomfortable and don't muffle enough loud sound or include enough normal. These do both very well. They are so light and comfortable I can go on 8 hour rides without even noticing they're in. Also really great for wearing to concerts or clubs when the music is crazy loud.

Work very well, easy to use, comfortable
These ear plugs work great! I have been using foam ear plugs that claim to reduce the ambient noise by 32 db. The Alpine Motosafe ear plugs seem like they reduce the ambient noise more than the foam ear plugs. You do need to make sure the Alpines are inserted the correct distance into the ear canal for optimum noise reduction. The Alpines are easy to insert with the insertion tool. They are also very comfortable and do not make my ears sore after a long day.

Great earplugs, but removal tabs are delicate.
These do an Excellent job in taming wind noise, and the filter works very well to still be able to hear my Cardo and Sena bluetooth intercom/ music on rides. The only issue I have with these is the little tab for making removal easier breaks off fairly quickly.UPDATE: after posting this review Alpine reached out to me and issued a refund, This impressed me, their customer service and willlingness to ensure customer satisfaction is laudable.these remain as my favorite plugs, even if though have to carry my leatherman tool in my riding jacket pocket to gently grip them for removal after a ride.

Good for Motorsport Watching
Used these for watching sports car racing. In between cars next to me at track, I could still hear my friends next to me. Without the earplugs, cars were deafening.

WOW - I'M IMPRESSED!!!
I was quite skeptical to the claims within the product description, nonetheless, the reviews seemed to imply this product was able to filter out wind noise while leaving vehicle sounds present. This is exactly the case!Inserting these ear protection plugs by pulling the ear upward and then inserting the plug will create an almost perfect seal and filter out wind noise. The drawback is whether you have internal helmet speakers and play music…let me explain!I find the music is muted to some degree where it sounds flat, you no longer get the treble and bass, but only hear the mid tones. That's not the end of the world… I would rather protect my ears.In the city I don't use the ear protection, so the music is not an issue but on the highway it's worth the protectionI HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT

Road test pros and cons
I was looking for good touring ear protection on my BMW r1250 with loud exhaust. I did a test of three different options, on the interstate going 75 miles an hour. I was looking for protection from exhaust noise, wind noise, convenience and consistency, and ability to hear music from my cardo pack talk.First, the Alpine race MotoGP ear plugs did well with protection from the motor/exhaust noise, but did not do well with protection from wind noise. They provided consistent protection and were relatively easy to insert properly. But as with all earplugs, they tend to work themselves out over a couple hours. My second option was BOSE active noise cancellation earbuds. Those did well with exhaust noise and wind noise but not as quite as well with the exhaust noise as the alpine. Nice thing about the earbuds is that they are very consistent and stay in place. My third option was foam ear plugs. Those did well with wind noise and exhaust noise if they were inserted correctly. However, I found that about 50% of the time I had to stop and reinsert them to get them inserted correctly. None of the solutions allowed for good listening to music at that speed. Music clarity increased as my speed decreased.Overall, I would give the Bose active noise cancellation earbuds my highest rating, because even though they didn't block the noise quite as well as some of the others they are consistent and they did block both wind and exhaust noise.

Alright
You shouldn’t have an issue putting your helmet on if they are in correctly my ears still kinda hurt but they will be great for mild speeds like 60 get the race ones if you’re going faster more frequently
