Work Great!
Used these to activate lighting (12v COB LED) inside a storage compartment so that lights were only on when the door was open. Spliced the wires in and it works flawlessly. I used the included adhesive mounting strips to position and test the position of the two halves of the switch on the door and frame. Secured more permanently with screws once I confirmed functionality but installation was easy and it’s a cool feature to add to a lighting project.

Perfect solution to a difficult problem!
Perfect solution to a touchy problem. The adhesive mounting tabs were perfectly suited to my application. I had to trim the back plate a little but rhat was no issue. The long wire leads were very helpful when mounting in tight spaces. I highly recommend these switches.

Dont waste your time
Terrible reed,I just now tried to connect it to my truck but prior from doing all the heavy wiring I wanted to test the switches out. So glad I did!!! I recieved 2 switches and none work. I saved myself a headache a

Worked well for my toolbox lid to turn on and off and led light strip.
I got an adhesive LED light strip and a 5v USB plug, then wired this switch into the negative side of the LED circuit. Now when I open the lid to my toolbox, the LEDs turn on automatically and I don't have to plug them in, or unplug them. I may buy another pair and use them for underhood lights.

Smaller than I expected. I returned it before trying it.

Incredible outdoor longevity
Works like a charm. So much better then pin switches because the pins corrode then break or intermittently work.
