Absolutely Love It – Perfect Upgrade for Any Car! ★★★★★
I’ve been using the AMPrime Mirror Dash Cam for a while now, and I absolutely love it! It has completely upgraded my driving experience with its clear display, dual cameras, and CarPlay/Android Auto support.Pros:✔ Perfect Placement Compared to Windshield-Mounted Screens – Unlike bulky CarPlay screens that stick to your windshield, this one is in the perfect reach and view while keeping the dashboard clean.✔ High-Quality 9.66” Display – The touchscreen is bright, responsive, and easy to navigate.✔ Apple CarPlay & Android Auto – Seamlessly connects to my phone for music, navigation, and calls.✔ Great Video Quality – The 1080P front and rear cameras provide clear footage, even at night.✔ Customizable Rear Camera – I shortened the wire by cutting and reconnecting it, and it works great as an interior camera instead!✔ Power Button Functionality – Pressing the power button turns off the screen, giving you a full mirror view, and tapping it again brings you right back where you left off.✔ Parking Assistance & Monitoring – The backup camera helps a lot with parking, and the monitoring feature adds extra security.Cons:➖ Wiring Takes Some Effort – If you want a clean setup, you’ll need to take some time to hide the wires properly.Final Thoughts:This dash cam is an amazing investment! The combination of CarPlay, dual cameras, night vision, and parking assistance makes driving safer and more convenient. Compared to windshield-mounted CarPlay screens, this one is perfectly placed for easy access without blocking visibility. Plus, the ability to customize the rear camera setup was a huge plus for me. Highly recommend!

Cool safety gadget
Still need to play around with it but what a cool camera, I love the dual AirPlay function for iPhone and for Android cause my husband is with Android. Shipping from the seller was great because with the holidays I got it earlier than expected. Packaging is A1, this camera didn’t shift around based on how I unpacked it . I believe it has parking assist although that’s built into my car, this is still cool. If I decide not to use it long term my husband is impressed and said he wants it haha so there’s that but I say give this a try!!

This does NOT COME WITH A MEMORY CARD. IT WILL NOT WORK WITH ANY OTHER CARD
This does NOT COME WITH A MEMORY CARD. IT WILL NOT WORK WITH ANY OTHER CARD. The mirror is warped, so its hard to use and it moves a lot, so far I am not happy.

Great concept, but needs improvement
I Thought this would be a good way to add a backup camera and try Android Auto without replacing my OE radio. The camera functions worked great on the mirror, but the Android features are probably best left to your phone or radio.Pros:1. The rear camera view in the daytime is way better than seeing thru my split liftgate windows.2. There's almost no blind spot. When a car is passing, I can still see the the back of the car in the camera when their front bumper is visible thru the driver's window.Cons:1. It always starts on the main menu screen. Every time I start the car I have to press the camera button and swipe to the rear camera view, or say, "Show rear camera". It should just start up in the view you last used.2. Android Auto works in full screen mode, but then you can't see what's behind you while its on. You can see the rear camera in split screen mode, but the view is really zoomed out and cars right behind you look far away / hard to see. The smaller screen size and large direction windows make it harder to see what is coming up on maps as well. IMO, It's just a bad place to put your maps unless you're used to driving without a rear veiw mirror.3. After setting it up, Android Auto will start up automatically about 15 seconds after it turns on. So, now I have to wait till I'm halfway out of my neighborhood to put my mirror into full rear camera view.4. when you select split screen mode and change to full rear camera view, using voice commands, it will keep changing back to a split front/rear view on its own about every minute. You have to manually select the view you want for it to stay.5. The rear camera is too zoomed in to be a very good backup camera. If you want to see your rear bumper, you have to point the camera so far down, you can't see where you're going. You have to set it at an angle high enough for rear view while driving and low enough to see the painted lines when parking. It'll get you centered/straight as you start backing into a space, you just won't be able to see how close your bumper is to obstacles behind you.6. The backup lines aren't very helpful, but I would recommend connecting the red wire to enable them. This way, the full rear camera view comes on when you put the car in reverse. Also, when you adjust the lines in settings, you can focus the camera down more while it is in revese. In my pics you can see the full zoomed out view on split screen, zoomed in around the middle when the rear camera is selected normally, and zoomed down when in reverse.7. The mirror is just a black screen when off, not reflective silver, like other rear view mirrors.8. At night, headlights get blown out on the rear camera. It's not too bad with 1 or 2 cars behind you, but on the highway they all kind of bleed together. I just turn it off and the black screen acts like a regular mirror in night mode.9. Sound quality thru FM transmitter isn't great. Works fine for Nav directions, but music thru it sounds like using a small Bluetooth speaker toy.10. Parking mode is just time lapse recording constantly after you turn the car off. You can set how many hours to record, not sure how much this will drain the battery. My old dash cam used motion/shock sensors to start normal recording in parking mode.In conclusion, it works okay without the Android Auto and FM transmitter. If I could do it over, I'd get a 2k or 4k dash cam mirror without Car Play/Android Auto.

Very impressed!
I was just looking to upgrade my 2004 Jetta to be able to have Android Auto but, VERY pleased with this Mirror Dash Cam. I also wanted something that when I rented a vehicle (Turo) that would give me Android Auto access. It's very easy and straight forward to install.I haven't done a permanent mount on the rear camera, but have it mounted with some VHB tape on the rear window. The unit works well! Of course not being hooked up to the reverse lights, it doesn't go full screen! The added benefit that I was VERY surprised at is the Bluetooth Audio connection to the unit and then the FM Radio. I've tried a number of units to do this, but this one works extremely well, with decent clarity for playing my music and Spotify.Very nice!
