Listen, I don’t know what kind of wizardry AMACO put into this tiny tube of Rub ‘n Buff Wax Metallic Finish, but I am officially obsessed. This stuff is like liquid gold—literally. It’s so easy to use, even my dog almost helped (don’t worry, he remains unbuffed). I’ve transformed picture frames and this pictured mirror, and honestly, I considered using it on my car’s rims just to see what would happen. A tiny dab goes a LONG way, and suddenly, everything in my house looks like it belongs in a royal palace. Move over, Versailles. Best money I’ve ever spent. If you’re looking to make everything in your life shimmer like Midas just strolled through your living room, buy this immediately.

I am so happy I found this! I saw from an influencer and figured I would try my luck at finding a great paint to cover a hand me down chandelier. I love the gold and the ease! I put the paint on an old cloth and it wiped right on. The whole time I kept thinking how easy it was and how happy I was that I found this paint! I had originally tried to spray paint but I didn't like the golds offered. I managed to paint the entire chandelier in 15 minutes! Such a great product. Please note I have only tried this on a chandelier and have not tried in on other objects, surfaces or metals so I cannot attest to the ease and usage.

I do a lot of thrift shopping, and I use these waxes to freshen up worn gold accents on everything from decor to furniture. Sometimes I use the wax to completely change a finish, like I do when making a gold frame out of a dull one. I love that they offer several different golds, so I can usually find the exact match. They are also easily mixed to match a shade you need. I’ve used small brushes to apply the wax, but I’ve also just used a finger (with nitrile gloves). This stuff is essential in my home.

I bought these to avoid spending money on new hinges and cabinet pulls I needed for a hutch and server that I refurbished. I wanted an antique look for the hardware. Achieved what I wanted and have practically the whole tube left for other projects. A LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY when using these! However, I gave it 4 starts bc it dries up super fast, so use it quickly when you dispense it out of the tubes. Also, it only worked on black hardware, not silver. May work on brass..but not 100% sure bc I haven’t tried it yet.
