Excellent Folding Knife for Everyday Use
This folding knife has exceeded my expectations! First of all, its design is very user-friendly—it's lightweight and easy to carry, barely noticeable in my pocket. The opening and closing mechanism is smooth, making it very convenient to use for both outdoor activities and daily tasks. The blade is sharp and durable, effortlessly cutting through various materials. I’ve used it for food preparation, opening boxes, and simple repair tasks, and it performed exceptionally well. The handle material is also very comfortable, providing a good grip that feels stable, even during extended use. The only minor drawback is that the blade requires regular sharpening to maintain optimal cutting performance. Overall, this is a high-quality folding knife with great value, highly recommended as both a daily tool and outdoor gear!

Smooth action
Opens and closes very smoothly and there is no wiggle open or closed, well centered blade. Duratech has done a better job on the axis lock than the one on my Benchmade. Nice contours on the wonderfully bellied blade, shavey sharp and finished flawlessly. Liners are solid, no attempted weight reduction there but l don’t mind. It adds to a feeling of solidity. Handle is contoured artfully and fits the hand well. Pocket clip is nicely designed and unobtrusive, strongly affixed but not switchable. Amazing bargain!

Decent knife after resharpening factory edge
This knife brings a lot of bang for the buck, pricewise. It's replaced my ganzo G729-GY for cardboard box breakdown duties. Just keep in mind, as with any other knife, you need the usual maintenance to keep it working well: oil the pivot and crossbar springs, retighten (& add thread locker as another option) pivot, scale and pocket clip screws. Cons: - This heat treat can't really hold an edge at 15dps, starts rolling easily. 15 with a 17 or 20 microbevel helps reduce rolls. - Some may have uneven secondary bevels (see photo) which may lead to more time sharpening. The edge kept snagging while cutting, until I spent the time to rebevel both sides of the blade to make sure both sides were at 17 dps. - Full liners with g10 equals heavy carry. - This 8cr is still one of the 8cr softer knives I own and the one that requires sharpening more often. Pros: + Smooth & satisfying cross bar closing and opening action. + Contoured G10 + Usable thumbstuds for 1 handed opening.

Great 8Cr knives for the money
Get these on sale and you really get a deal. The steel is hard and sharp... Definitely 8Cr as rated and not just junk. Action and lock up is pretty good.... Smooth but a little jerky.. not a great fidget knife as it eventually is a little rough on the fingers Still very good quality and makes a great gift

Surprisingly one of my favorite budget blades and EDC
Don't let the sub $20 price tag fool you. I knew Duratech made tools, had no idea about their knife offering. The action is great-- easy deployment and storage with a gently flick of the wrist. Good lockup, no play on the blade. While the blade isn't anything special (8CR13MOV) it's good enough for an EDC with regular maintenance. You can't go wrong with the price; even if you buy one as a goof you'd be surprised.

Great EDC
Love these budget but high quality build knives. Not too big or small . It has smooth axis lock. It can be open with one hand. Super sharp. Highly recommended 👌

Best Knife for the Money
A heavy, solid and well made knife. Not the sharpest steel, not for shaving, but great for opening boxes and cutting paper. for $10.50 on sale, no worry about ruining or losing it.
