No more neighbor raising my garage doors!
This is the best purchase I've made in a long time.Had problems for a little over a year with my neighbors garage door opening one of our doors. They eventually replaced the other garage door and the incidences of the issue doubled.Purchase these and wired them into where the inside buttons are and it works perfectly with no interference. The range is surprisingly good. Much better range than my old Chamberlain remotes. It's very easy to pair new fobs. I have a cat I acquired from my aunt who could no longer take care of it but unfortunately it couldn't stay in the house with my other cats due to behavioral issues. I keep a fob on my nightstand and raise the door in the morning so she can go outside.

Awesome little radio for an old garage door
Bought an old house and needed a set of clickers for the garage doors. The old ones were lost by the previous owners. The openers still had push buttons on the wall but no remotes so I took a chance on this device. Turns out that it works great. The radio needs an external DC power supply between 6 and 30vdc. I used an old 12vdc power brick from an old laptop, just cut the end off and spliced the wires into the supply terminal (the one with the 3 screws). Programing is a bit tricky, as others have stated, you need to do it quickly, so familiarize yourself with it first. Button A controls relay#1 .. button B controls relay #2, you only need to program the remote once as a single programming session handles both relays. In fact I programmed the remotes on a bench before installing them on the ceiling. I programmed the device for a momentary connection (since the garage door buttons are like touching two wires together). You'll hear the relays when they click in (ie. pressing the A button) and when they click out (ie. releasing the A button). I used the NO (normally open) and COM (common-ground) connections on the relays for this.

Perfect
The media could not be loaded. Used this in my enclosed trailer for inside lights and porch lights. Works perfectly and from a good distance away. Just a tip, the box will have a constant light on, so there's a steady draw for anyone using these with just battery power. And the instructions were a bit confusing as the colors were wrong on some of the wires in the diagram, but I got it figured out.

Easy Garage Door Opener Remote & Wiring Instructions.
1st of all you have to set the remote/s to Momentary Mode.1. Confirm that both red LEDs on the circuit board are ON.Which means the 2 DC power wires are connected correctly i.e. the 2 left connectors on the 3 connector panel & it matters which one is left and right so if no lights, then reverse the wires.2. Press the learning button on the receiver 1 time.3. Watch for the indicator LED on the receiver to turn OFF.4. Immediately press the button "A" on the remote transmitter.5. Watch for the LED to start flashing then stay OFF.6. Immediately press the button "B" on the remote transmitter.7. Watch for the LED to start flashing then stay ON.8. Congratulations, you have programmed Momentary Mode.It goes quick so if you missed it try again.NEXT connect the top Normally Open wire & the 2nd COM wire to your garage door opener wires. Ignore all the other connections. If it doesn't work, reverse the wires.

Works for my project, good range... While it worked
I built a remote start for my old Jeep using this, and it's mounted behind a steel dash in a double wall fiberglass body. I can start it from inside my house from a good distance.Update....Only worked a week. Now I hear a faint ticking when it is powered up and LEDs are lit, but nothing happens. It performed well for that week, but only a week isn't a very long life.Update 2.Make sure you have solid power and ground. My power had come loose, causing low voltage under load. I'm leaving this all here hoping it may help someone diagnose.

Lasted less than a month.
Light weight. Basically wire size 18 awg or less. Needed two separate circuits so chose this unit. Was able to accommodate the light wire. Worked great at first, decent range on the remote. Unfortunately lasted only about 3 weeks. Then failed. The power indicator light (which shows when powered up, in my case with a 12v. battery) no longer lights, and of course the switch no longer operates. Disappointing. Cannot recommend.

Work as it should
Used for a custom remote automotive window application. Works as it should, have used several of these with no issues.

Great for adding remote start to my generator
I got this to replace another module I installed on my portable generator that had failed after 5 years. The installation was pretty easy and straightforward if you follow the instructions. The quality appears to be pretty good and it should last the test of time. It offers different switching types but I only needed momentary function. The instructions described how to change the modes. I have actually only used it twice so far with no issues.
