First of all the tin is truly small in size; therefore the 4 individual packets containing 6 cookies each are also small. I was lucky that only one cookie was broken in transit and the tin itself only had one very tiny dent. It was shipped in a bubble mailer so things could have turned out worse as other reviewers have stated. The cookies themselves are quite tasty with tea or coffee and also pair well with ice cream!! They have a delightful balance of sweetness and saltiness and are very crisp which I really enjoyed. The price tag is a bit high but I would probably buy them again in the future to experience this different taste sensation because it reminds me of past trips to France.

This is the worse product I have ever purchased on amazon. The cookie tins were all dented and the cookies were all cracked and stale. I cannot give these tins as gifts...the tins are also embarrassingly small. This is an awful merchant. And, naturally, they wil not take returns and/or provide replacements.

The cookies are definitely quite good. The originality of their recipe makes them different in texture: more resilient, not crumbly, slightly on the dry side, and different in flavor: not too sugary or buttery, from ordinary large scale commercial cookies. Folks who mechanically gobble down cookies while surfing channels will be disappointed, besides the limited contents of the box would leave them wanting.They are interesting to discover, at the rate of one or two accompanying a warm beverage. On their own they might be a little dry. Thus they may become an acquired taste.The cookies come in small sealed wrappers of 6 which helps conserve freshness.The small tin box in which they come is nicely decorated with an old postcard view of Mont Saint Michel. A logical choice of illustration since this traditional recipe is from that area in North Western France. Moreover, that was the decorative style of French cookie tin boxes in the old days. Small items can later be stored in that charming little box, now a keepsake.If you are knowledgeable of the recipient’s tastes or culinary curiosity, I recommend this product for its originality and definite quality.

These bakery offerings are stunning. They are delicious and delectable and the taste will prompt you to have more. They are presented as sealed sleeves of Galettes, a crisp cookie like offering no one will say no to. Please enjoy these amazing bakery offerings. The hinged box holds these Gallettes, a treasure I know that I was. It was an unexpected treat, but these items are now listed as must have items to share with others, or just to snack on with a cup of tea or coffee after a tough day/week. Madison Peltier presents their Gallettes to all of us as an unexpected, but remarkable bakery treat.

Cookies were excellent. Surprised to see tin was so small and cookies were all broken so we could only find crumbs. Too little for the price. Taste of cookies just as good as the ones purchased in France.

I did not care for these cookies. In my opinion they are not necessarily a good value for your money. Half of the cookies where broken. The cookies where stale. Please note I bought them in July of 2022 but did no open until the beginning of October 2022. The expiration stated 01/23/2023.

I was surprised how delicious these are. I bought this because I liked the tin and it is a bonus that these simple cookies made with high quality ingredients are absolutely delicious. They are crispy, fresh, and arrived unbroken. Highly recommended.
