Q: Should you put these directly on your skin or attach them to a shoe insert?

Put directly on skin. If your skin is sensitive, you might have to trim the sides of the pad. I’ve found I can even shower with them on for a couple days before they lose their adhesiveness, As with most things, you have to play with them a bit.

Q: What are the dimensions of the sloted area?

dimensions for slotted area: 0.5 inch wide and 0.75 inch long.

Q: Is Felt supposed to be better than Foam???

My personal preference is the felt but it really depends on the callous location i.e. on the edge or in the middle of your foot
