Batman: Beyond the White Knight

The original White Knight was awesome. This one was even better. I can't believe it took me so long to get to this story. I'm glas I did because this has been one of the most enjoyable reads I've had in a while. The artwork is retro fantastic and the story is icredibly fresh even though it borrows a few bits respectfully from some amazing Batman stories. This alternate world is fully fleshed out and each character get more than enough detail without getting the overall pace bogged down. A really enjoyable and satsifying Batman story. An absolute must-have in your library!

This was a great gift for my son. Pages are vivid - this artist is a great choice for vivid color and depictions. Story-line was enjoyable. Graphic novel was sturdy, good materials used, and as described.

As a fan of The White Knight from the first book I will say the consistency of story and art quality is mind blowing. This introduces a lot of new characters and idea while keeping the stuff we love from the first two runs intact. The ending is something that will excite anyone who loves this series guaranteed.

Curse is the best in the series imo but this one’s still pretty fun

Batman and the Ehite Night action packed!!!

Art and story were great. The addition of Gan as Robin was a highlight of the book. She is well written and cute. Very funny as well. She has fears and learns from Red Hood, as well as her mistakes. Made her a realistic strong female character without the usual smug and "Mary Sue" traits. Very good book all around.

I'm loving the white knight universe, and how they brought Terry in to the story is amazing.

Sean Gordon Murphy and team once again take you on an amazing adventure with epic illustrations and a reimagining of the Batman universe. A must have for any Batman fan!

I love the White Knight universe. This is a great addition to the universe. Great artwork, story, characters, and character development. The White Knight universe goes Beyond. Bruce Wayne has almost served his sentence, but Gotham has changed. It is now a police state. Crime is almost non-existent. Isn't this why he became Batman? Does this Gotham even need or want a Batman? The Batfamily is divided and split on both sides of the divide. On top of all that, Bruce has a most unwanted visitor. One thing that has not changed is Bruce's ability to push those he loves away. Is there a place for him in the new Gotham, and does he have a chance to change it. I thought this was going to the final book in the White Knight universe, but I am over the moon. There is more to come. I like the family theme of this book and that every character gets their chance in the spotlight. There are slightly different histories for certain characters. Usually, I hate Batman/Bruce getting beaten up, but him being older makes more sense here. I also like his detective first approach. The ending could lead to the next exciting chapter. The book finishes with a varient cover gallery.

One of the best comicbook writers working today. Fun, fun, fun!
