Very good for my NAS. High storage capacity with easy installation and no problems

Seagate is my favourite brand, I have so many of these drives and I find them very reliable, fast and very good value for money, this one is no exception. It came pre formatted with 2 partitions but I found it easy to volumize it into one almost 8tb after using windows built in software for formatting and creating partitions. Recommended.

Absolutely amazing, was a breeze to swap out an old one with this, just had my old regular barracuda die on me from 3.5years of uptime (continous) functioning as an NVR drive, out of which around 1 year was fully writing 24/7, I am hoping this will last around the same or longer, frigate is fairly good on writing to storage, and this immediately got picked up and formatted brand new drive was in place and being recorded onto in like 5 mins from opening the package.It was in an ESD bag and the box was strong and had a sort of tangy movement for the drive so even if it got slammed during delivery it would still work just fine.Since this is lower power consumption than my previous drive it would generate less heat too which is just a bonus.So far its silent mounted sideways in a drive bay, just using it in a stripe so will definitely see how long it will last.Fairly cheap and with 3 cameras constantly writing to it, I can store around 30days worth of 1080p footage, maybe even more, but I dont want to reach 90% usage on a drive constantly.

Good drive. Only 22TB shows up because using on desktop PC. I think it is meant for servers. It would have been nice to know this beforehand. Still, it is more space than I need right now so fairly happy with it, and good value, solid drive.

The perfect addition for my NAS setup. 8TB is a decent amount of space, allowing for numerous hours of 4K video content in a smaller form factor. The driver is pretty quiet, unlike some others.

Now using Internal as an external hard drives, to stop data Theft. Once used hot swap and keep in Hard drive box on a shelf. Good speed, good value, compact and durable.

Very easy to set up and install worked perfectly straight from the box. Installed in a security system.

fitted to hikvision dvr and was picked up right away . a quick format and all done. worked perfectly since .its high capacity is welcome as it stores way more days now. its silent in operation so you wont hear it .not as heavy as you would think being so large capacity .you could do worse than this drive . priced well at the time of buying .highly recommended.
