Not actually flashcards
Not actually flashcards. Each page has 3 terms with the 3 corresponding definitions on the back. I cut the binding off with a box cutter and then cut them into index card size so I could use them as flashcards. Felt they helped some for the exam but not nearly as much as other study resources

These are NOT flash cards.
I'm sure the content on these is fine, maybe even great. To be honest I did not even look, because I thought I ordered flash cards, but this is a book. Oh the flash cards are printed in the book, but they are not cut out and even if I wanted to go through the trouble of doing so myself they're on regular paper and would tear when flipped through. If you're hoping for flash cards rather than a review book buy something else. Will be returning asap.

Convenient!
I just passed my praxis II exam yesterday! This is a small sized book that you can carry anywhere and whenever you have any down time; you can review important terminology that will be necessary to pass the praxis II exam!

Flash cards are a must!
I like the flash card approach to learning. I found it easy to quiz myself and reach my goal of passing the Praxis. At least, I plan to pass. 😊👍

Both resources are helping me focus my studying for the test. Dates would be helpful on more of the flashcards.

An excellent variety of flash cards for the Praxis II Social Studies 5081 Exam that can be cut out and laminated ...
The Praxis Series Tests “are a part of teaching licensure in approximately forty states.” This particular set of rapid review flash cards are for the Praxis II (5081) Social Studies Exam. Individual states determine what’s needed for licensure, but I’ve always found that flash cards are invaluable for either specific or generalized exams. In the introductory material you’ll find out exactly what the Praxis is all about. This particular exam will “test your ability to understand relationships among fields in social studies.” In the introductory material you’ll learn all kinds of good-to-know information such as how long the test is, the administration process, and what’s on the exam (basic information is below), among other things. As I’ve always maintained, the more information I have access to before going into an exam, regardless of the company putting out the guide, the better off I am. The introductory material in this Cirrus guide, as in the others I’ve read / browsed, will let one know everything you’ll need to know about the exam, including the format. The Praxis II in Social Studies is a multiple-choice exam . It’s a computerized test and the “Praxis website allows you to take a practice test to acclimate yourself to the computerized format.” something I’d highly recommend doing. I’ve always done better when I’ve “practiced” working with online tests. There is a website that anyone can reference, one that’s listed in this book.I’ve always made my own flash cards and actually made them for courses I took in graduate school. These flash cards can be cut out and laminated, but many may prefer to leave them intact in the book. The variety of questions / prompts is quite good and the categories included are in US History, World History, Government / Civics, Economics, Geography, and Behavioral Sciences. One doesn’t only have to be prepping for the Praxis to make good use of these flash cards. For example, one prompt in the US History section says “Indian Removal Act.” When the page is turned I learned that it was an “1830 law that forced Cherokee, Creek Chickasaw, Choctaw, and others from their lands in the southeast to Indian Territory (Oklahoma).•► WHAT’S ON THE PRAXIS II SOCIAL STUDIES (5181) EXAM:The section is listed first, followed by the concept, the approximate number of questions, and the percentage.US History: 26 Questions, 20%.World History: 26 Questions, 20%.Government / Civics: 26 Questions, 20%.Economics: 19 Questions, 15%.Geography: 19 Questions, 15%.Behavioral Sciences: 13 Questions, 10%.TOTAL: Always 130 questions in a two hour timeframe. There is no DVD included in this book, but is available by request after posting a review. This book courtesy of the publisher.

A Great Review
I am always looking for books to help review information. I am a teacher and love to be up to date so I can best teach my kids. After reading through this book here is what I picked up.1. The book is a book of flashcards. They are literally flashcards printed on big paper. As I was learning, I realized, the best thing to do is either cut out the cards or answer 3 questions and then check the answers.2. The information in this book is great. it covers a lot of topics, however, the answers are basic. if you are looking for depth, I would do more research.overall, this book is great. I found it to be a great starting point covering lots of important topics. A great way to review and prepare for major tests.I received this book in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are mine and were in no way influenced by outside sources. I am a professional blogger at LittleLadyPlays
