I read many reviews before ordering. This was almost the exact same carb that was original. The only difference was the tube where the fuel line would connect was curved instead of straight. It fit right up no problem. It came with a new gasket and also air filter and spark plug. However, my engine is a twin cylinder so I would need 2 plugs. It took me about 10 minutes to swap the carbs and after installation the engine started right up. Something else I found helpful was the additional cleaning brushes in the kit. Great value for what it cost me. Shipping was quick and this worked great for my mower. After I get a couple hours on it I will update this review for quality over time. As of now I am well pleased.

I got this carb to fix my 2003 craftsman with intek 20 horse motor. Hooked right up and works perfect. Very little adjustment and it’s running great. Can’t beat this if you are trying to get an old lawn mower back in action.

Overall not a bad carb. I have a 21HP engine and it installed extremely easy. Started right up and idles great, however as many have states stutters a bit under load. This may be great for the 17-19HP mowers but for the 21HP has a slight struggle. However if you need something to get the mower going and have the wife off your back this does work but don’t expect a full season use. Bought this since my Nikki Carb was giving me issues and was a 2 week wait for OEM rebuild kit.

Perfect fit in a timely manner

Great product and worked really and was a perfect fit for our craftsman mower. Not hard to install and get for the price, was quick to put in and speed was good. Very easily adjustable and the perfect carburetor replacement!

I warn my customers of buying cheap carbs off Amazon, only because they are generally more lax in their association to specific applications. Of all the carbs I have bought on here, I am about 50/50 on success out the box. This one was no exception. Bought this and installed on a 19HP Briggs Engine and it ran great until you put it under a load. Swapped main jet from factory carb into this one, no change. Eyeball comparing the two carbs showed little to no difference on external and internal components. After going around the moon for several hours, ruling out EVERY other possible scenario, I finally put the two carbs under a microscope (looked more closely) and realized the plastic orfice manifold inside the carb had some subtle differences in the size of the ventricles. Drilling out the ventricles to match the factory size FINALLY fixed the issue with high rpm load situations (ie engaging the blades and cutting grass). You get what you pay for and though this one was said to be for the application, it did not work correctly out the box. Also, the spark plug and air cleaner were not the right application either. But the description had my part number in it.

It did work well
