NASCAR Thunder 2002

I have been a follower of some EA Sports series, mostly football (college/pro), but NASCAR wasn't one of them. I was poking around through the years of releases as to what the game did and didn't include - plus I was looking for a cheap one to start with, so I didn't look too much at the 2011 or newer versions.This game is good for beginners and what you read in the descriptions of the game as to what it contains is pretty well right on the mark. I have little doubt that the 2011 or newer versions has pretty much everything, plus all the additions you would expect from a newer version, but when I read through all the descriptions of the 2002 through 2010 versions, this older one seemed to have everything that I was looking for in a beginning version. That combined with the price for being 10+ years old made it a great buy!

It has some rough physics here and there, but over time I was able to adapt... on veteran difficulty. On legend there wasn't much I could actually pull off. But hey, Sweet Home Alabama ain't so bad, and the cars are actually kind of shiny in nice way! If only we didn't have to wait 5 minutes every time a mistake was made. Realistic but... pointless. In all reality, drivers used that time to think about what they would do to the car in pit road; you don't need to in here. I watched Zachary Lombard annihilate Ken Schrader in JvsZ on the N2SC4R channel... which is why I recently repurchased the game. I'm gonna bring it to my channel after a while.

Purchased this item from KLTMART but had to return, it would not play at all. It had a really bad scratch all the way around the disc. Returned with no problem and was issued a refund. Repurchased from different seller and this one worked perfectly. Son loves this game.

if I could give zero stars I would. because the disk couldn't be read, I know it isn't my PS2 because I tried another game and it worked, please make sure your disks work and PLEASE DONT BUY
