I use this for many hobbies! It works great for sewing, making jewelry and even for tie-dying cool pattern on shirts! I like how this product does not leave wax flakes and seems to be very durable. It comes in a lot of colors! Which makes it easier to match the leather shade and can be fun when designing jewelry!Overall great product, good amount of thread and priced right!

The media could not be loaded.  So far I did try linhasita, and multiple other threads and they make lot of friction in my fingers. This thread Is really soft and nice to make knocks and they look really beautiful when finished, strong and stays in place. It is really waxed so your hands will be with lot of wax that i dont mind. The holes of my beads are really tiny and they pass through all. It is also affordable with 24 different colors.

I've used about every kind of lacing/stitching applicable for leatherwork, this works easier than the artificial sinew but isn't better than real rawhide thread - which I have to make if I want to use and isn't friendly to my damaged, arthritic hands. Unless I were to be making an authentic reproduction, I don't bother with it or real, natural sinew (tendons); using these waxed threads are just fine for modern products. I don't know what the true tensile strength is, but I know from my own testing that a seam done with compared to real or artificial sinew will rip apart much easier of the 2, usually by ripping out the holes. One can barely get the price equal to the actual work itself for most leatherwork so sewing the punched holes with the fastest and easiest method/material is pretty much a given. I can resole my moccasins with anything I may want to, and this is what I'm using - for all the same reasons.

The color is def bright! And not super waxy, which is unfortunate because I ended up having to add more wax as needed. The quality seems fine.

I use this for stitching Long Leaf Pine Needle Baskets. It has been challenging to find threads for my craft, especially for a decent price. THIS is my favorite find so far. I have started using it and it is smooth and strong to work with. I will be purchasing MORE of this!!1

If you macrame, you’ll like using this brand of waxed cord. Title says it all.Also, this shade of navy is gorgeous. It’s as dark as you’d want a navy to be, but it still reads blue instead of the eye automatically assuming it’s black.

Mandala makes a great product. It’s great value for money. They have a large color selection. It’s great for the beginner as well as the professional. I can’t say enough good things about this thread. Just buy it and give it a shot. You won’t be disappointed. One side note. Some colors are waxed more than others. Not sure why, probably due to the manufacturing process. Some colors are very lightly waxed and depending on your preference you might want to wax a little more. I add extra wax to certain colors. Very easy to do. Just hold the wax in your hand and pull the thread over the wax while holding it to the wax under your finger. I actually prefer to add my own wax because some other companies add way too much wax and my fingers get sticky while I’m stitching. Adding my own lets me control how much wax is on the thread.

Lovely, soft and pliable material. Not stiff and waxy feeling like other waxed cords I tried. Perfect for beading stones. Would order again and recommend to others.
