It's made of solid materials that will last, but lightweight enough that it's convenient to carry when all folded up. All the pieces/parts fit easily inside and the setup is as effortless as popping open a quality tripod. The LAST thing you want to do when having a good ol' time is struggle with a frustrating apparatus, especially if you're cleaning up, ESPECIALLY if you're hung over when cleaning up. MegaPongo is so easy to set up and take down, you'll even look cool doing it.The shields are optional and simple to take on and off (yet they stay snug once in place), and one detail I was pleasantly surprised to find is that the manufacturers put protective film both sides of the shields so they're nice, shiny, and unscratched when they get to you. They certainly didn't have to do that, but it shows they care about the quality.The ONLY drawback I've noted is that the pong balls they send are slightly larger and lighter in weight than typical pong balls. My boyfriend and I have had enough pong practice to know there was something "off" about their trajectory. So we just unearthed our old pong ball collection and used those instead. Pong balls cheap and easy to find anyway, so the complaint was too minor to warrant a demotion in stars. Compared to what you are getting, the pong ball issue is nothing. I do suggest that you make sure to have plenty of normal pong balls on hand to prevent unsatisfactory game play.The best part is that so few people know this kind of thing exists, so MAN do you look cool taking this places. With MegaPongo you're instantly awesome anywhere you go.I considered several other similar products before settling on this one, and I'm glad I did. The versatility in gameplay, the net that neatly deposits the balls in a cup, the optional shield, the portability, the easy setup and teardown, and the great quality make this the best gift I've ever given my boyfriend. I highly recommend this!

Very well built and sturdy. I like how small it folds down and how easy it is to store. Would have gotten 5 stars but the 2 large cups that catch the balls on the bottom of the net came broken. Not a huge deal but still part of it.

My family loved it. You can set it up anywhere indoors or out. The numerous slots for the cups are great for creating a variety of different games. It's well built and easy to transport. A great addition to my party game collection.My only issue which has nothing to do with the design and useability of the game is the packaging for shipment. A couple of pong pong didn't survive the trip.

A bit difficult to assemble but otherwise fun and exciting to play

We take this to every football game and there is always a group of people stopping to check it out -- loads of fun!! I traded the red cups and ping pong balls for the Michigan State University ones I ordered here on Amazon -- PERFECT

Takes some getting used to when you first change up from using a table to this. I recommend also getting the wind balls instead of using typical ping pong balls. They work much better for outdoor use.

As a college student I have played my fair share of beer pong the past four years. The problem my roommates and I always encountered was the aftermath that the game left in our house. Since I purchased my Megapongo I don't have to worry about sticky beer messes in my living room. With the cups staying stable in the set there is less spillage. I take my Megapongo with me all the time whether its a tailgate or a friends house party the Megapongo always makes an appearance. I also love how easy it is to set up and take down the Megapongo, not to mention how portable it is to carry from party to party. I am so happy with my purchase and am contemplating buying my boyfriend one for Christmas since his apartment is so small, and Megapongo would fit perfectly!
