I was leary about this item, but I discovered that it was easy to put together, it extended easy and is sturdy. It is holding a microwave underneath, 2 coffee pots and a toaster on the top shelf. This item helped free up a lot of counter space—worth it!!!!!!

This is great for a small space! My microwave fits perfectly on top or bottom with the extra space for other kitchen items. Very sturdy. My 17 year old daughter put it together for me. Def a great purchase.

The product was of good quality, not flemsy. The metal is a smooth, flat black. It doesn't look cheap. One big problem...some hardware pieces were missing. I took a credit for it because returns are a pain, then ordered another one thinking the first one was a one off, nope, same missing parts. Really irritating.
