McFarlane Toys Avatar - Jake Sully

Vrey nice, easy to pose, but joints can break and probably cannot be repaired.

Absolutely fantastic figure he is so much fun to pose and play with surprisingly amazing articulation nearly as good as Bandai Namco figures

I am in love with this Jake Sully figure so much, i even got neytiris as well. The details on the face arent too bad but i can see how it can be difficult to make it even more detailed considering the head is pretty small , other than that the rest of him is great. He poses just fine, you do kinda have to really press him into the stand to make it go in but not too hard to do. For the price hes so worth it, not too expensive and he comes with another set of hands, knife, and bow. I also found out they glow under black light so i will be ordering one to try that feature out :) I highly recommend this for anyone who is into avatar

I really like her. She poses okay and is a good enough size that I can see her across the room. All of her joints in her arms and legs have a click-in-place type mechanism so she can hold really solid poses better than if they were just your average hinge. The knife and bow are fine. I think I would have liked the bow more if it came as a separate piece from the arrow, cause as it is, you can't have her pose like she's about to shoot someone. She can hold the knife well, and it fits in the sheathe on her hip, but since the back is open, it doesn't really stay. Her hair and tail are made of a soft and flexible plastic material, so they're reasonably easy to manipulate. I don't like the hair very much because it does restrict her head movement quite a bit, and looks a little silly when posed in anything other than a straight forward gaze. I wish she had just a little more articulation in her thigh. I'd love it if there was a swivel, or even a peanut joint to allow her to tuck her knees up or sit on her haunches a little more naturally. That said, her knees and elbows ARE double jointed, meaning she can easily touch her face or shoulder, or sit on her knees. Her chest joint doesn't go forward or bend back very far, but it does rotate, so it gives a lot of good reasonable natural aesthetic to certain poses. She had a hip joint too, which can only really bend side to side. Would be nice if it could push forward or backward a little more to accommodate a hunch(such as, for riding her banshee while not straight as a board), but it's fine for the price. I'm also not a fan of the included stand. It works, but it's pretty easy to knock her off of it accidentally. Overall I'm pleased with her. While there are some areas that I think can be improved, I'm mostly happy with what I got and the price I got it at.

Action figure di Jake dal film Avatar (2009). La figura è alta circa 17 cm ed essendo Na'vi è proporzionata alle figure umane di 10cm. McFarlane mi stupisce con questa serie di figure. Egregia qualità dei materiali, quel blu rende la pelle dei personaggi molto realistica. La scultura è fedele al personaggio e i dettagli (capelli, trecce, vestiti e decorazioni) sono resi in maniera notevole. Ma la parte che più apprezzo tra tutte è la colorazione impeccabile: dagli occhi, alle sfumature delle labbra, le tigrature blu e i puntini bioluminescenti. Questa figura di Jake ha in dotazione un pugnale Omaticaya estraibile, un arco, un paio di mani intercambiabili e basetta da esposizione. Una breve nota negativa: le articolazioni sono leggermente rigide e dopo un consistente utilizzo potrebbero risultare lente. Un altro aspetto negativo è che il pugnale difficilmente resta nella fondina, per cui si rischia che cada ogni volta che si smuove la figura. Per il resto, probabilmente quelle di questa serie sono le action figure figure più preziose e belle che abbia visto, a questo prezzo. 5 stelle meritate.
